Terrible (and I am a musician myself for over 25 years!)
It's sung off-tune in some parts (including background vocals). In my opinion the recording sounds very messy in most places.
The part at 3:15-3:25 is just terrible, and to be honest, this band should get a new singer.
PS: the lyrics are pretty crappy as well (I mean, the soft-ballad part at 4:00 about ”offering a ride” is really really bad!)
Hmm. Not great, didn't remind me much of Queen either. As the above poster said, the vocal was often out of tune, and the band as a whole didn't sound very together at times.
Kind of funny visually too - you have the kind of effeminate lead singer (going by his movements, appearance and voice), some punk with metal through his face playing guitar, the drummer having a fairly straightforward serious approach and the guy playing bass looking bored out of his mind, to the point where he couldn't even stand for the video. I know this is pretty picky and insignificant but I just don't think the band blended visually in this clip, and I feel it's important for a band to do that, other wise they're not putting across the same message, and are acting more individually rather than collectively - as a band.
Sorry to be so critical haha
A reverent band name is never a guarantee of good music.
I remember finding out that there was a band called McFly and thinking "Ha! That's awesome!", being the stupidly enthusiastic fan of Back to the Future that I am.
And when I heard what the band actually sounded like, I wanted to hire a contract killer to deal with them. Unfortunately it's well beyond my means.
i'd give them a further chance in case they'll get a proper singer. this "rain"-thing also is quite terrible production-wise. some amateurs spent some effort doing an ambitioned home-brewed project without doing the effort of showing any emotion at all.
my 2c: at the present state this is is a band you can avoid without missing something at all.
nope, folks. good music is sth. different.
