OK, here's something for those who never watched this. This is taken from the Metallica's documentary "A year and a half in the life", and this segment is completely from their Freddie tribute appearance.
The great thing about this clip is that it contains the rehearsal of Stone Cold Crazy with Queen, Tonny Iommy, and James Hetfield. Between Metallica songs you can hear James Hetfield and the others talking about Brian and the rest of the artists there.
The performance on stage footage i believe it to be from Metallica's crew, like Doro did with Queen from 86 tour, so it's complete new camera angles and stuff.
I hope that when they decide to reissue this concert, they realy make something special with all the rehearsal footage they have. A complete concert DVD would be very welcome too!
Thanks for the person who shared this on youtube, the user bygreedcollection. link
Hope you enjoy this, as i'm shure this will be new footage for many people here, that's why i posted it in the serious section.
nice to see some more queen related rehearsals turning up.
does anybody know if there's something like a complete FM-tribute-rehearsal video out there ?
On Youtube theres a documentary called'Freddie Mercury-The Man and his Music',it has plenty of backstage, and rehearsal footage.Quality aint brilliant, but it is,what it is.
