Apart from Queen my other favorite music is that of Bowies
What a shame they did not collaborate more.
A duet with Bowie would have been a good meeting of minds for a new Christmas song
I think they could have written a real classic as great as white Christmas.
That is not to dismiss 'Thank God It's Christmas' though, that is one of the greatest Christmas songs but obviously did not chart as well.
David Bowie never actually wrote a Christmas song that i know of, but Queen did.
But something as unique as a Christmas song, it would have been interesting to see what Queen and David together would have come up with, that's all.
Of course, it would also have been interesting to see any other things they could have come up with.
I wish they had made two whole album or three together, both whole albums featuring Bowie Queen written songs exclusively with and no separation.
Brian and Roger could still do that, while there is still chance, make three albums with David.

Yes, three is the magic number of albums they should make. One would be plain lazy ...and two, well, just not enough. But three! It makes so much sense. Fuck -they could even get Kapone in on it too!
Wait, wait ...I'm just grabbing a pen
I like to imagine, that in the late summer of '76, I could have contacted Queen and implored them to turn Brian's 'Teo Torriate etc' into a christmas song by changing the lyric and leave it off A Day At The Races'
It would be there every year alongside 'Happy Christmas, War is Over' , Merry Christmas Everybody', 'I Wish it Could Be Christmas Everyday', et al and would have been one of the great Christmas classics.
'Let us cling together now it's Christmas time, oh my love my love.May everyone live in peace and harmony and let us never lose the lessons we have learned'!!

Wait, is that a joke? I find it somewhat hilarious, yet it almost makes sense.
^ Yeah, I'm not entirely sure either. To be fair it's not much more outlandish than the phonetic Japanese lyrics. I've listened to Thank God It's Christmas twice I think, and didn't think much of it.
