I think he was talking about doing a bluesalbum with more stuff like this around that time (2001-2002). Shame that never happend. Am I right in thinking this is the last "Brian May" recording until today? Not counting collaborations and stuff ofcourse.
ok. thx a lot. didn't know the studio version of his.
very nice work indeed.
and a very clever harmonic arrangement on this timeless classic!
oh, i wish there was more of this stuff and brian would visit a studio again...
I have listened to all catalogue from Queen and solo stuff. It's kind of hard to believe that some fans missed these awesome songs for years!
not a harsh comment, by the way
just a curious fact ;)

I thought about the same thing. To me this was the first time i "really" heard the song, and i thought i knew everything! I'm pretty shure i have it somewhere but for some reason it didn't make an impact then.

not my case, I loved it from the first I've heard it, back in 2002, 1 year or so after its release ;)
Always liked this one! great song by the Doc, from a period when he was still much into music ... well, I mean, being creative !
I believe his singing voice reached top form during the period between Another World and recordings like this one.
