Hey, my favourite station Planet Rock have got a poll going at the moment to name the best rock song of all time!! I think Queen deserve to win!!! Help me vote for them & lets see them rise and have the most songs at the top!!!!!! link |
Micrówave 21.08.2012 10:17 |
But Queen did not write/perform the "greatest" or "best" rock song of all time. |
brENsKi 21.08.2012 11:18 |
not another sychophant...how "queen crazed" can you be? do you get a housepoint, gold star or get to be milk monitor if you "help queen win" by orchestrating a "committee" vote jeez, it'd be fuckign refreshing is just someone anyone would come on here and say "XXXXX are having a greatest band/song/album of all time poll....go and vote for your who you really think is the best over here:" not "let's make queen win" ...it's fucking pathetic...still look on the bright side, you'll be milki-monitor for the next term btw - i voted for Rainbow's - Stargazer - about ten days ago |

How do you know it's not some little kid. |
brENsKi 21.08.2012 16:20 |
firstly, if it is "some little kid" then i could be right, they could be milk monitor next term.... secondly, the only word i used that most kids these days might not understand was "sychophant"...but i am sure he/she can find an online dictionary thirdly, nice use of the word "cunt" way to go to set an example to "some little kid" |
paulosham 22.08.2012 14:12 |
Edit out the anger. |
brENsKi 22.08.2012 16:15 |
you see ^^^^ i've never pretended to be better than anyone else, i use the C word...and i also say exactly what i think but for you to come on here...and attack my post (when i wasn't abusive to the original poster) and then use the C word yourself....but then re-edit it out to make yourself look "holier" than me...that's fucking hypocritical if you meant it, leave it in...and you clearly did mean it |
paulosham 22.08.2012 16:37 |
The C word? You mean carrot? You're a Cunt Brenski. Happy now? You can be the holy one again. The tone of your comment wasn't exactly welcoming to the OP. A word of warning to the OP. Run while you still can. Try and escape the hole that is Queenzone. P.S. Anyone who quotes themselves is a moron. link P.P.S. Look at me involved in an internet slagging match, what have I become? For you it seems it's a way of life. |
brENsKi 22.08.2012 16:58 |
paulosham wrote: P.S. Anyone who quotes themselves is a moron. link^^^says the Clown Prince of Moronica |
paulosham 22.08.2012 17:06 |
You call the OP a sychophant and a milk monitor and say that their first post is fucking pathetic, still you think that you weren't being abusive. |
paulosham 22.08.2012 17:19 |
What?! You didn't reply, but it's been almost 10 minutes. Oh woe is me. I think I'll go and cry myself to sleep, face buried in my cunting pillow. |
malicedoom 23.08.2012 14:59 |
Cunting pillow? I have weird visuals going through my head... |
brENsKi 23.08.2012 16:26 |
my guess it's a bit of specialist equipment for those who only ever have sex alone.... |
Micrówave 24.08.2012 09:55 |
Maybe.... but it sure sounds comfortable. |
cuNTski 25.08.2012 16:05 |
brENsKi wrote: my guess it's a bit of specialist equipment for those who only ever have sex alone....Your incorrect use of the four period ellipsis amuses me. |
brENsKi 25.08.2012 16:51 |
mr o'sham, your need to create a new ID in order to cyber stalk me worries and flatters in equal measure.....have i really got to you to a degree that you feel the need to go to the trouble of creating a fake ID? ps - i don;t think "nurse" has been with your pills today has she?, and i bet you're starting to wonder why all your pullovers/jackets fasten at the back anyway, thank you |
cuNTski 25.08.2012 17:55 |
I can't log in under my usual moniker for some reason. I've Probably been banned because of my over use of The C Word (that's cunt to anyone who hasn't been following). I must say you're comebacks are a blast from the internet past. First it's my sexual activity and then my mental state. Well played sir. So to play along... Nazi! I call this a Godwin. P.S. Pullovers don't have fasteners. |
brENsKi 26.08.2012 03:17 |
1. when we talk about abuse etc etc....i wasn't the one who got banned,... you were!!! 2. or were you actually banned? perhaps it was another part of a fantasy to create a notoriety of sorts...or just delusion? 3. cuNTsKi ??? really??? as i said before "worrying and flattering in equal measure" 4. "blast from the internet past" - well if that's the case then you have been down these roads before, and still haven't learned....perhaps my "nurse" and "pills" comments was closer to the truth than we both realise i'm disengaging myself from your argument...life's too short for this, it's my own fault....discussing things with you is like throwing bread to the pigeons in trafalgar square then wondering why i end up covered in pigeon shit you have my permission to continue this argument...but from now on it'll be alone...or with the voices in your head. :-) |
Bigfish 26.08.2012 12:40 |
Won't Get Fooled Again |
brENsKi 26.08.2012 13:28 |
^^^^ that's a good shout, but i think Blackmore's guitar and Dios vocals edge out Daltrey & Townsend... |
Bigfish 26.08.2012 13:34 |
Hmm I'm a fan of Dio period Rainbow but I can't think of anything they recorded that was of a similar stature to WGFA. |
brENsKi 26.08.2012 15:56 |
as i said...i voted for "stargazer" by rainbow...two weeks ago ok, i humour you and look at the two songs "won't get fooled again" vs "stargazer" - both are 9min+ rock epics so worth a comparison 1. tune the arrangement of stargazer beats wgfa by miles - more intricate, certainly more interesting and changes in and out of the main melody are more complex 2. guitars: ritchie's guitar work on this tracks is much more interesting (eastern euopean/turkish with asian slants) than townsends typical windmills 3. vocals: listen to the L.A. mix of stargazer - it's impressive what he (dio) does - as opposed to Roger D's (lack of) range on wgfa 4. drums as good as KM was...wgfa is not his best drum track...but stargazer has a definitive Cozy drumming stamped all over it 5. keyboards: PT's progammed keys were good but - as he explained on the "classic albums" series..it was all very easy to do...tony carey - not the most famous keys player...but certainly did some impressive stuff on stargazer 6. lyric both songs have a very good lyric although something very insincere about art school lads tellign a tale of urban destruction and the breakdown of society...rainbow's "babel tower" story form the bible is also a bit out of it...but both are very good lyrically |
Bigfish 27.08.2012 09:35 |
And yet Won't get Fooled Again remains an iconic song which has touched three generations of Music fans while Stargazer is just a reasonably popular song amongst heavy rock fans of a certain age.. |
brENsKi 27.08.2012 09:46 |
as i've said in another thread...it's subjective but you did kind of beat yourself with your own argument...you said "an iconic song which has touched three generations of MUSIC fans" the poll is the "greatest Rock Song ever" |
Bigfish 27.08.2012 09:51 |
Isn't the true worth of the greatest Rock songs that they are able to escape their genre and gain notoriety with a much wider audience ? |
brENsKi 27.08.2012 09:56 |
you won't let it go will you? i said it's subjective...i love WGFA - read my comments about it, whereas i think Stargazer is a superior rock track, in most ways anyway, listening to the top 30 countdown on planet rock now..... last few 16 - ace of spades 15 - paranoid 14 - whole lotta rosie will let you know the full list when published teatime ...see what the "much wider audience" you quote say |
brENsKi 27.08.2012 10:10 |

Bigfish 27.08.2012 10:11 |
I have now re aqainted myself with Stargazer after more years than I care to mention and hopefully it'll be a few more before I hear it again. I have to say I found it all a little tedious. A sub Zeppelin sword and sorcery romp but without the swagger of the before mentioned group. Then again I can understand it having some sentimental popularity amongst metal fans I suppose and as you say it is all subjective. |
brENsKi 27.08.2012 10:14 |
it's nothing like metal...one thing rainbow were not was metal |
Bigfish 27.08.2012 10:19 |
Oh no not the old metal or not metal argument.. ABSOLUTELY hilarious.. |

brENsKi 27.08.2012 10:24 |
you have to wonder why i accept that opinions are subjective, but what YOU think is the best has to be indisputable? fucking weird attitude, when - as there are no definitive lists that say one is definitely better then the other and one is deifnitely metal/not metal...odd in the extreme another cyber stalker? are you sure you're not paul o'sham(e) in disguise? |
brENsKi 27.08.2012 10:28 |
