Words of the seller :
"RECITAL LIVE QUEEN, POSSIBLY THE CONCERT IN ARGENTINA, rare piece for collectors and connoisseurs."
"I have no recorder to test, Many years ago I lent an open reel to test and it works great
Bring recorder if you want to try the tape , best"
The problem is: How could we know if it's really a new tape from argentina?
We need someone from Argentina to test the tape! :P
I'd love to walk to his house and test the tape, but would take about 581 hours walking. No way.

I have a friend who has an open reel of the first gig on buenos aires, but is only a recording from the radio rivadavia broadcast... this could be a similar case, i mean i don't think this is a profesional recording but maybe could be a good alternative source...
It's an old ebay trick - seller records a well known bootleg onto a reel of tape and sells it as something else while playing dumb. It used to be littered with reel to reels of Bowie live in LA '74 - a popular bootleg.
I agree, most likely this is nothing. Recently Reel to reel tapes turned up on ebay , the first ones sold for high prices , claiming it was from a record company executive , featuring rare recordings. People were thinking these were true studio soundboard recordings , it turned out to be just bootleg recordings recorded on reel to reel. The same as a CDR.
Don't forget Reel to Reel was a standard of home reocrding before the cassette tape... For the youngsters this was way before the CDR made his enterance...
The picture attached is what a Queen reel to reel tape looks like. They are extreme expensive. They feature better sound as an acetate or vinyl. And they are a lot more rare than acetates... These things shouldn't leave the sutdio.
But for this one 99% chanche it is a know bootleg source. Depending on the age of the Reels there is a big chanche it is a upgrade to the known bootlegs...
Always interesting to explore who is willing to give this a try...
