It didn't do the 'seeding' bit like the other one???? Should I start my uStream from here or my own hard drive? |
Marknow 06.08.2012 19:41 |
Thanks, did you download the torrent above too? it helps with the tracker for seeding. |

Now I've tried the link above and it's telling me: "The torrent you are trying to add is already in the list of torrents. Do you want to load the trackers from it?" What now? |
Marknow 06.08.2012 19:51 |
select yes |
madamimadam 06.08.2012 19:54 |
Marknow wrote: select yes OK, I did that. It still has only my original file on there which is not doing the "Initial-seeding" like my other torrent. Should I just shut uStream down (which will interrupt the other torrent) and start fresh? Which is best? Opening the torrent from here or my own computer? |
Marknow 06.08.2012 19:56 |
I have no experience with ustream tbh. But stop seeding the old torrent. And close the program. Download the above torrent and double click to open torrent program, select to save files where the directory with the original files are. |
madamimadam 06.08.2012 20:05 |
OK, it's up there again... but still didn't get the "Initial-Seeding" bit!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! HALLLLPPPP! Is anyone able to download it? |
Marknow 06.08.2012 20:07 |
Right click in the torrent program and select start? I cant find any info on ustream as a torrent client, are you sure you don't mean utorrent? |
madamimadam 06.08.2012 20:11 |
Marknow wrote: Right click in the torrent program and select start? I cant find any info on ustream as a torrent client, are you sure you don't mean utorrent? Yes, I mean uTorrent. I have now moved both 'utorrents' into the folder where the four files are because it is not recognizing that I already have them. Let me see how that goes. |
Marknow 06.08.2012 20:14 |
It is not recognising them because you have the original folder in the wrong place, maybe your desktop, or another folder? You need to copy that original folder into your torrent download folder. |
madamimadam 06.08.2012 20:17 |
Well that didn't do shit! I'm at the same place where I started! Keep yourself alive!!!! It is not recognizing that I have those four files and all their pieces like the other torrent did which is why it's not allowing me to do the "Initial-Seeding"... Help????????? |
madamimadam 06.08.2012 20:18 |
Marknow wrote: It is not recognising them because you have the original folder in the wrong place, maybe your desktop, or another folder? So you have a choice of 4 .mts files or 1 big .ts file? |
Marknow 06.08.2012 20:33 |
Nah, no need to keep seeding the other one. Both files will play on the same thing anyway. |

Marknow wrote: Nah, no need to keep seeding the other one. Both files will play on the same thing anyway. But for the not-so-savvy fans who want to make themselves a DVD out of it, isn't it easier for them to have just the one file? When I created the big torrent, I had it on private which is what caused the problem I think. Now I know better. |
madamimadam 06.08.2012 20:38 |
I'm watching uTorrent and it seems that after every 2MB, it just stalls for a while and then kicks up again. Is that normal? Can I change a setting somewhere so it won't do its stalls? |
Marknow 06.08.2012 20:39 |
Nah, you can just drag the four files into your dvd software as easy as one. |

Thank YOU for being so patient and contributing to my slow-curve learning about torrent-making! I know it will take a while, but I honestly think it's worth it. I've put it up on my PVR and watching it on big screen is amazing! I just get such a kick of the interaction between Adam and Brian... the mutual love and respect is a beautiful thing!!! Again if some savvy techie can do something about the audio level during Brian's solo (talking and singing), that would be wonderful. I think it's the only negative that can be said about this video. BTW, it was shot by an Adam/Queen fan from Idol Forum who was extremely gracious in my guiding her through the process of getting the raw footage to me. So thanks go to her, first and foremost. |

I originally posted this in the wrong thread (I posted this in the 2nd announce thread, which apparently has a MPEG-TS file in 35Mpbs - no idea what madam did in that one. The original torrent file is 7GB which is almost the same as this one), just reposting here: --- Just to clarify, I'm the person who taught madamimadam how to join the files using TSMuxer and suggested QZ as a place to seed as a torrent. The reason for that is that there's a lot of people interested in the video as a single file but don't know how to join the videos together (especially useful if you're watching the video in a TV-based media player). The whole joining process is lossless anyway. madamimadam, is is possible that you can still continue seeding the original torrent? I'll continue to seed that once it's complete. There's a whole bunch of people who got the torrent link from me, who now have the files half downloaded using the original link and are now left in confusion. |

yeahh i posted this in the wrong thread too, is there any way for me to speed up my download speed on my utorrent :( its ridiculously slow and its normally not like this at all? cheers David PS - if anyone downloads it fully before any1 else an upload to a file sharing site would be greatly appreciated |

Hey, I have managed to download the first file in this torrent from another source and the video quality is excellent from what I scanned through. Audio quality is lacking tho. I have asked the people who provided me with the full audio from 14th (which I originally seeded on DIME and was later seeded here) if I could use their audio to join with this new footage, and they have kindly agreed. I don't have time to make a DVD from this as I will be out of the country for vacay soon but if anyone wants to make it using the better audio, please credit TALC? What I could probably do is provide the cut audio in say 320kbps 48kHz AC3 as I have the original 24bit/96kHz audio in a single track. |

I've mixed the audio from TALC audio a bit to boost the vocals and guitar as the original source was a little muddy and too bass-heavy. Tested the audio on a pair of bassy headphones as as well as a treble one and it sounds pretty good on both. Assuming that this video is indeed uninterrupted, once this torrent is done I'll simply trim my enhanced TALC audio to match the video and transcode to 320kbps AC3. It should theoretically be an easy task to mux the new audio with the footage using TSMuxer GUI or FFMpeg. BTW, I've had a look at the specs of the video through Mediainfo and it's neither 35 nor 12 Mbps, but actually approx 6850kbps encoded in VBR set to a peak of 12Mbps (makes sense since if the video is 2h17mins, a CBR 12Mbps file would be about 13.5GB). @StanleyClimb, here's the correct video specs for your DVD cover: Quality: 6.7Mbps, 1440x1080i (16:9) at 29.97fps, AVC (High@L4.0) The audio should be credited to TALC as I didn't record music :) I think there should be enough space on the DVD-9 to make a dual audio DVD? |
madamimadam 09.08.2012 07:54 |
Thanks, Terraj! OOOOPS! Those specs were the ones for the one-file torrent I originally posted. In all the excitement of getting this torrent to work, I never ran the 4 files through Mediainfo. Thanks again. Will you torrent your muxed Talc audio and Elyse's video file? |

As usual it much longer than I thought it was going to take... The TALC audio was about 250ms longer than the video's audio, which resulted in the TALC audio going out of sync with the video over time. So I had to make some very tiny snips in parts of the TALC audio to keep it in sync. (I suspect the feature in the Q3HD audio recorder, which prevents clipping, somehow introduces a delay in the audio when the recorder corrects for sudden bursts of volume). I'll upload the audio after I've QC-ed it. |

It has to be converted to DVD format before you can burn it as a DVD (will result in visual quality loss cos a DVD cannot handle HD and files in this format). If yo want to burn as a DVD, wait for Ale Solan's DVD version which he will make after he gets my new audio which i should upload this weekend. I will be posting instructions here later on how to merge my better audio with the video in a single file if you simply want to play it on your computer or a media player like WDTV or PS3 without burning to DVD. |

Finally! Here's my improved audio for this video recording with instructions on how to merge the improved audio with the video: Instructions (Windows): ---------------------------------------- 1) Download and extract the improved audio here: link (The audio is a mix of TALC's audio & the video's audio) 2) Load tsMuxerR GUI (download here: link 3) Follow the instructions in this screenshot: link /FIN Mac users: --------------- I don't know an equivalent of tsMuxerR GUI for Mac that works properly, but you can use MKVToolNix to achieve a similar effect (output will be in *.MKV, not *.TS). The steps to join the files should be almost similar to tsMuxer as the interface is quite similar (except "Join" in tsMuxer is called "Append" in MKVToolNix). MKVToolNix can be downloaded here: link Notes: --------- So the improved audio took far longer than I expected, due to 2 reasons: 1) For some weird reason, the audio by TALC is about 250-300ms longer than the audio in the video, so TALC's audio drifts off from the footage over time and gets very out-of-sync by the 2-hour mark. 2) While the TALC audio sounds great on headphones, due to the way the audio is distributed in the left & right audio channels, the sound doesn't translate too well on TV; the video's audio on the other hand sounds mostly ok on TV but really lacks dynamic range and bass, and is extremely thin on headphones. Steps I took: ---------------- 1) Using Adobe Audition, I made cuts in between tracks to sync the TALC audio with the video's footage & audio. (Originally I tried to simply change the speed of the audio to match the footage but it resulted in a whole series of complications that I shall not go into here.) The audio transitions between the cuts are seamless (Audition has an auto 2ms crossover fade feature that ensures this.) No cuts were made during songs. 2) I boosted TALC's audio's mid to high frequencies using Audition's Multiband Compressor (see settings used here: link, as well as slightly balanced the audio channels using Amplify. Bass was slightly reduced. 3) Mixed the video's audio (-0.5dB) with TALC's audio (ensuring everything's in sync) to create an audio track that sounds pretty good both on TV and on headphones. 4) Exported to WAV > transcoded to AC3 using FFmpeg commandline. Hope you like the result! |

Here's my improved audio for this video recording with instructions on how to merge the improved audio with the video: Instructions (Windows): ---------------------------------------- 1) Download and extract the improved audio here: http://www.mediafire.com/?mnydtt0vy1cute3,3sszsbzwbvygw96 (The audio is a mix of TALC's audio & the video's audio) 2) Load tsMuxerR GUI (download here: http://www.videohelp.com/tools/tsMuxeR) 3) Follow the instructions in this screenshot: http://www.mediafire.com/view/?pjdf4k42fl0mobx /FIN Mac users: --------------- I don't know an equivalent of tsMuxerR GUI for Mac that works properly, but you can use MKVToolNix to achieve a similar effect (output will be in *.MKV, not *.TS). The steps to join the files should be almost similar to tsMuxer as the interface is quite similar (except "Join" in tsMuxer is called "Append" in MKVToolNix). MKVToolNix can be downloaded here: http://www.bunkus.org/videotools/mkvtoolnix/ Notes: --------- So the improved audio took far longer than I expected, due to 2 reasons: 1) For some weird reason, the audio by TALC is about 250-300ms longer than the audio in the video, so TALC's audio drifts off from the footage over time and gets very out-of-sync by the 2-hour mark. 2) I boosted TALC's audio's mid to high frequencies using Audition's Multiband Compressor (see settings used here: http://www.mediafire.com/view/?een5ecpel5nhss2), as well as slightly balanced the audio channels using Amplify. Amazingly explained Terra! you're too cute for this world haha ; ) thanks to you and TALC! gonna start working on this one. Cheers, girl ! |

I am sure that there are many threads in this forum where those types of views can be freely shared. I have been made to feel very welcome in sharing this video and I find myself quite disconcerted to end my experience here on this note. The public reaction to the mini tour was terrific, and that's all that matters. |

When I saw the name of this topic, I instantly thought this would be complete Hammersmith 1979... Disappointment. |

Thanks for all in first place!, what a wonderful job you've made with this show filmed fully entired in HD, I remembered that Ale Solan recently wrote: madamimadam wrote: Ale Solan wrote: So what happens once you've created the DVD file? How do we get it? Will you give us instructions? Create a new torrent? Newbie lost at sea, here. That's right M, I'm gonna create a new thread with a torrent file and you'll download it from there ;) So I was wondering if you, Ale, could make a .torrent of a DVD (bescuase you said that DVD players can't take HD files) and, of course, with the perfect audio mix (the original was really low), so when you have little time please share it here, all would be very grateful with you, cheers! |

Hi guys, Could anyone please help me by seeding this one? It's downloading but very very slowly as there are only a few seeders for this torrent. Thanks in advance! :-) |

I made a new audio track for this video using the Wardour audio uploaded here: link Here are the AC3 files that can be muxed with the video (archived in a 3-part RAR): link The instructions on how to sync can be found in that folder. You will need TS Muxer GUI for PC or at MKVToolNix for Mac TS Muxer: link MKVToolNix: link I've also uploaded the FLAC version (4-part RAR) of the Wardour audio (adjusted to sync with the HD video) to that same folder above, so if anyone prefers to mux a PCM audio source, they can use the synced audio. |
