I haven't listened to that much of Freddie or Roger's solo work, only Brian's really. Might have been more inclined towards it because it (arguably) sounds the most Queen-like. Resurrection is probably my favourite Brian track, honorable mention to The Guv'nor, Business & Too Much Love Will Kill You (which I would like more if it weren't so weighed down by heavy orchestration).
Hummmmm ....
Freddie: besides Barcelona (of course), IWBTLY, La Japonaise and In My defence (not written by him, but gives me goosebumps every single time I listen to this song).
Roger: wow, wow, so many options here. Starting from Future Management, then Beautiful Dreams, Foreign Sand, Final Destination (his re-take), Believe In Yourself, Tonight
The Cross: Contact, Bad Attitude, New Dark Ages and Millionaire
Brian: Star Fleet, Resurrection, TMLWKY, China Belle, Another World.
John: ... let's see .... hummm .... yeah.. there was that song in that soundtrack .. ;)
Not really a fan of Brian's solo stuff. I like 'Why Don't We Try Again', maybe cos I was going through my divorce at the time, I know, blub, haha. I also like, 'Let Me Out'.
Freddie, 'How Can I Go On', Barcelona and 'Guide Me Home'.
Roger, well he is my favourite when it comes to solo work. So I pretty much like everything he has done. It would be quicker to list the songs of his which I don't like. My favourite song though is 'Unblinking Eye', believe it or not. I think it's the best Solo song from any member of Queen. (I expect a backlash, haha). I love 'Nazis 1994', too. 'Where Are You Now?'. 'Surrender'. I'm gonna be here forever. I love all The Cross stuff too. I don't think He's done a bad album. I can't wait for his new one.
Oh, I like There Must Be More To Life Than this. But that's the only Freddie solo song I can actually remember, so it's not much of a fair judgement. I really ought to get into Freddie & Roger's stuff
Freddie: The entire Barcelona album, Your Kind Of Lover, Living On My Own and New York, and the MIH tracks.
Brian: Resurrection, Let Me Out, My Boy, Blues Breaker.
Roger: The entire Fun In Space album, Unblinking Eye, Freedom Train.
I really love the outtakes from the FM boxset. There Must Be More Than Life Than This, just Freddie and his piano...
The whole BM album Lost Horizon and all other stuff done with Cosy Powell.
Pretty much everything RT did. My fav. album Fun In Space: Beautifull Dreams, Magic is Loose, etc...
Brian's Back to the Light had some great songs on it, a few good ones on Another World too. Star Fleet Project is really cool.
Roger's Fun in Space and Strange Frontier are both great.
Mr. Bad Guy is OK. I don't think it's great but worth a few listens. Barcelona is awesome though, if you can get over that it's opera - the melodies and vocals are great.
After that, it's kinda hit and miss.
Freddie:
Love me like there's no tomorrow.
Exercise in Free Love.
Guide me home/How can I go on.
The Fallen Priest
Brian:
Another World.
Back to the Light.
Dream of thee.
Starfleet
Roger:
Laugh or Cry
