A couple of things: didn't see any mention of Hendrix (^?)
Toilet queues double? Not a chance - if you were on the lower deck, near the stage, there was NO leaving for any reason, lest losing your hard won spot immediately. Maybe people with seated tickets had that luxury - but that was only the balcony or maybe those way in the back who got there late.
That photo of Brian? I don't think that's from the 14th because I don't recall him in that jacket and I was purposely on that side.
Here's something the reviewer missed .... Guess who said the following: "now it's your turn to sing this shit!"
Ugh, yeah.
Thanks for posting the review, David. I am always stunned that people get paid for such unrelated comments. Rightfully they call it "words" by author and not "article", "review", "opinion" or something that would suggest actual content :-)

He didn't mean it specifically mentioned Hendrix, he was just questioning the writer's knowledge. The article said that Freddie never liked rock, and the fairly well known fact that Freddie idolized musicians like Hendrix clearly discredits that. So he was just using Hendrix as an example.
So the reviewer generalizes and makes a few comments that seem 'out of place'. Most of them do, anyway.
I think his comments regarding Freddie not liking rock do make a point, though. Freddie was not JUST about Rock 'n Roll. He had a broader musical taste and that reflected in his music: Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon, Leroy Brown, Seaside Rendezvous, etc. With that in mind, this guy's point is it's not a sin to have anything less than a Rock 'n Roll God (temporarily) fronting Queen as their legendary frontman cared for many other styles.
The comments about people heading for the toilets is obviously a joke. Even the "We will rock you" musical made jokes about Brian's solo being long and nobody complained about that.
I don't agree with the overall feeling of the review (Adam = Good, Bri&Rog = yawn) but he does make at least one good point in my book.
