Hi, my family owned the news of the world album when i was younger and no longer have it. So im confused as to what the right color is of the gatefold. I have seen many pics of the inside gatefold, even on ebay and ALL of them are a different shading of color than the spread your wings single cover. just curious, anyone that has the news of the world album, please tell me if the spread your wings cover was modied (as far as color)because it doesnt look like the pics i have seen of original gatefold, thanks!
Images on the internet, including ebay thumbnails, are almost always subject to differences in contrast & the like. It's pretty likely that the actual sleeve is a fairly similar colour, perhaps a bit more faded in some cases. What's making them look lighter or darker is the photography itself, and however people have edited them before uploading.
