ive just been souring the forums and came across a lovely piece of software looks interesting called Traders little helper
i was wondering what it is actually for and how you use it ???

20 years? FLAC has only really been around for half that time.
TLH is a great piece of software for detecting whether or not a source is lossless, and for encoding to FLAC, amongst other things. It's quite convenient to have everything in a nice little package, and used by music collectors worldwide.
Myself, I prefer to use a different piece of software for each major function, but to each their own.

Actualy TLH is hardly a trustworthy tool to detect lossy sources, unless they are realy bad ones to beguin with. You are much better off using a tool that alows to see the spectrum of frequencies.
Other than that it is awesome for everything else, especialy creating torrents (it even has a handy list of the announce urls of most major music sharing trackers) and creating or verifying checksums (FFP or MD5)
