The singer took Queen's 'tight leather' look to a whole new level...
Everyone's been super excited to see Adam Lambert take Freddie Mercury's leather-wearing position as the frontman of Queen, however the American Idol star may have taken the whole 'tight trouser' look a little too far, as he was left looking embarrassed as his trousers split in London last night (July 12).
The singer was performing 'I Want To Break Free; when the rocker suffered a wardrobe malfunction, in front of the entire crowd, as the band took to the stage at London's Hammersmith Apollo. Cringe!
The eccentric singer jumped into the crowd during the performance of 'I Want To Break Free' and left feeling a bit of a draft no doubt, as the back of his leathers split open. However, not one to bow down Adam then turned to the crowd to show the split and poked fun at the incident during the track, joking that he needed a costume change pronto.
Last night was the second of the reformed bands dates at the London venue and so far, aside from the splitting of the trousers, the band have continued to wow crowds as they perform all of the legendary rock bands biggest hits.
Watch the moment that Adam's trousers split below:
Meanwhile, following the reports that Adam has been approached to become a judge on American Idol, the singer has revealed that he is "flattered" by them.
It was reported yesterday that the show's bosses were keen for him to join the judging panel with a source telling E! News: "They have been talking about Adam for over a month. He personifies the show, and will be a popular choice right from the start."
How exciting!
Queen impress crowds at London's Hammersmith Apollo link
Personally wht I foudn more embarassing is he jumped down in the crowd in the first place. Playing with Queen is about respecting Queen. Jumping down into the crowd and shaking their hands takes all the focus off the band as a whole and onto Lambert himself.
I can assure you it wasn't planned. Those beloved leather laceup pants have made many an appearance and are a Glambert favorite. R.I.P. leather pants :,(
