Right then folks, here's some good and bad news.
Night #1
25 minutes recorded. I'm so pissed about this, it's unreal. I've shot at Hammersmith before from the best place going in the venue. In the stalls, on the raised platform on the side. You can get tripod steady, 99% unobstructed views there. Typically, a freak incident led to three security guards walking behind me. Two went straight one, one spotted me.
I have the intro up to the start of FBG, and the encore. Some great stuff here.
Night #2
95% of the show shot, missing a couple of minutes of Brian's dull guitar solo. Shot from the floor, so while the footage is 50% great, obstructions means 50% of it isn't as amazing.
If someone (eg this taper who got all of night one: link has shot tonight's show, my tape would be great in a multicam. On it's own, it's a 6/10.
Footage shot on my Sony TG3, full 1080p HD.
I don't have time to edit, upload etc. So, who can I send my video to?
I would get in touch with "Brians Wig" That's who I have sent my Video footage to in the past. He does a great job authoring the video footage & he's 100% trustworthy. If you want a professional return for you footage, he's the one I would recommend. Waaaay better than the Snow productions DVD's.
Is Brian's Wig still active though? I've tried to get his attention in regards to the promised Fanthology-related video release(s) that was supposed to happen by late May and never did, and he never responded.

After the DRF and fanthology outburst, QZ should be renamed Sour Milk Sea :-)

Can anybody confirm if this project is moving forward?
Would be a shame if the community missed out because one person is too busy to do it. Others are ready, willing and able.
Well, I've not been around much lately due to personal reasons and also the reason the promised project hasn't happened yet is because my PC died and I've had to save up to buy a new one. The positive to that is I now have one that can handle HD recordings better without it needing to be hand wound like my old clockwork model.
So. That project is ready to upload as soon as I get my head round torrenting which I hope will be tomorrow (Sunday).
If folks wish to entrust me with their HD recordings, I'll happily see what I can do.
There's a lot better video here if you wanted to video to work on, in HD link
There's going to be more uploaded by TALCvids soon as I think they haven't finished uploading everything.

That'd be great if i could get hold of their master files instead of shitty youtube quality.
Once something becomes a turd, it can't be polished.

You can request from them. Some of the tapers are quite willing to oblige actually.
Is this project still going on? I am thinking about making a multicam of the second night myself. But if someone has already made great progress editing this show, it's probably not worth the effort to start collecting video's.
Is there anybody who actually got away with recording any of the Q&AL shows with a proper HD video camera that records an interlaced picture, rather than a mobile phone or stills camera that records de-interlaced HD?
