Artist: Queen+Adam Lambert Title: Gen Dobre Wroclaw Date: 2012-07-07 City: Wroclaw Country: Poland Venue: Stadion Miejski Taped By: W. Lineage: Church Audio STC - 11 > Sony MZ-R70 > rec. with Audactiy 16 Bit/44 > WAV > FLAC Level 8 (TLH) I was standing 50 m right from the stage. It was a mind blowing show. The polish audience was full of rhythm and in very good tone. I managed to read no news about the setlist so every song was a small surprise for me and it was great to hear so many songs for the 1st time live with me in the audience and not in front of a speaker at home. Tie Your Mother Down was played a little bit disabled and God Save The Queen was almost forgotten. It started a few minutes after the guys left the stage on their way to the highway or the bar Who knows? Whatever you may think about the colaboration with Adam Lambert, I felt very much entertained and I'm still very happy for travelling to Wroclaw (a very nice city by the way) setlist 1. Flash intro 2. Seven Seas Of Rhye 3. Keep Yourself Alive 4. We Will Rock You (fast) 5. Fat Bottomed Girls 6. Don't Stop Me Now 7. Under Pressure 8. I Want It All 9. Who Wants To Live Forever 10.A Kind Of Magic 11.These Are The Days Of Our Lives 12.Love Of My Life 13.'39 14.Dragon Attack 15.Drum session 16.Guitar Solo 17.I Want To Break Free 18.Another One Bites The Dust 19.Radio Ga Ga 20.Somebody To Love 21.Crazy Little Thing Called Love 22.The Show Must Go On 23.Bohemian Rhapsody encore 24.Tie Your Mother Down 25.We Will Rock You 26.We Are The Champions 27.God Save The Queen Nearly a complete recording because there's an old fashioned disc flip during the guitar solo. MiniDisc only lasts for 80 min and I decided better to cut the guitar solo then a song with lyrics. Sorry for that! total running time: 127'30'' Please don't sale this recording just spread it for free kind regards W. |

Thank you, Wlad. How was the show ? I have a feeling that Adam IS getting better with every show he does, what can I expect from this one ? |

Pittrek wrote Thank you, Wlad. How was the show ? I have a feeling that Adam IS getting better with every show he does, what can I expect from this one ? It's hard to say actually cause I have no concert to compare. It's a higher league then the MTV performance, no doubt. Adam Lambert made a good job. From time to time it felt better then Mr. Rodgers but that may be because of the different songs they play. He was staying in eye contact with Brain and Roger again and again as he would ask "Is it okay for you guys?" Brain smiled and his head and eyes said yes. It looks like that on the digital board. For "Who Wants To Live Forever" I give Adam Lambert the best grade he can get for this song. That was great work. He had the audience in his pocket while "Another One Bites The Dust" was played but he failed the entry to "I Want To BreK Free". You can hear Spike starting the first keyborad notes and stopped to start again. I saw that no Adam was on stage and Mr. Edney was searching for him, too. That was visible even without the digital board. The Duett with Roger in "Under Pressure" was solid and I think he was able to get a lot of people on his side and all the others were thankful that he was one reason that Brain and Roger were playing new concerts and came to Poland for their first stand in that country. kind regards W. |

Nice mics. CA-11. Have them too. Did you use cardiods or omnis? Why are you still using minidisc? A r-05 or r-09 (roland) will cost about 200 bucks. Combine that with a battery pack or preamp and you can record in 24 bit /48kHz lossless wav. Really worth the upgrade! Not downloading btw, but thanks for taping and sharing anyway! |

Listening to the audio right now. Applied a bit of treble and bass EQ to it and it sounds so much better and clearer :D The audio is right-channel heavy so I think a little balance adjustment would make this a B+ audio. Thanks so much for sharing this! |

"Cause on the other hand it's nice to hear your masters while walking or cycling" You can listen to them too on the Edirol. I would know, since I own and regularly use the R-09 model myself :-) Since Roland discontinued the R-09 model, I would suggest if/when you eventually get the R-05 model which does offer 96/24 recording, pick up a 16GB SDHC card at minimum. That way, you'll still have more than plenty room for overhead :-) That being said, I've been wanting to junk my Hi-MD recorder for quite some time but never could have been bothered to get around to doing so, lol! |

Thanks for the recording by the way! Can't wait to check it out |

(owner of the R-05) Actually, I think the R-05 is Rolands hidden gem. In many ways better than the Edirol R-09 HR wich everyone seems to be after. |

After all a read about it I would say cardiod but I'm not sure. I bought them 2nd hand from another taper. Are the Church Audio STC - 11 not cardiod always? regards W. |
people on streets 10.07.2012 09:02 |
I think the standard is cardioid indeed. But they do have switchable capsules, so you can also screw omni caps on them. For more info about taping: taperssection.com The manufactor of the church equipment is active on that forum as well. |
Double-U 10.07.2012 09:22 |
Thank you very much for the information. So I'll stay for a visit in the taper's section if anyone is asking... Surely Mr. Church can be very proud to see his equipment working on so many places in the world. |

The show was incredible! Adam Lambert really got better from the Kiev concert, he made less of those high-pitched, screamed vocal show-offs. It's a pity that there were some technical problems with lighting (Spike almost got hit by the piece of lighting equipment!) and sound (during Tie Your Mother Down). |
