Hi there,
I've just bought and recieved a russian flexi-disc of "More Of That Jazz". It was at a very low price and out of curiosity I decided to add this item to my collection.
Of course I know this isn't official stuff but I'd like to know if anybody here knows the story behind these russian flexis?
Been searching a bit and found that a set containing Teo Torriate, Long Away, White Man, Don't Stop Me Now and, yes, More Of That Jazz was recently sold at eil.
Couldn't find much more, except another russian flexi of Jealousy auctioned at ebay years ago.
cheers
Vali
Budkon was a Russian pirate label that released a lot of flexis by Western artists. The records are all in mono and have a terrible sound quality - Moreover, only very short songs are full-length versions; most songs are drastically edited.
The "covers" are simple photocopied wraparound sleeves, and the discs are often available in different colours. The "labels" always have the same general design. The only difference is the colour, which depends, of course, on the colour of the disc.
It's difficult to say when exactly a particular disc was released. It is usually assumed that the Budkon flexis are from the 1990s.
Thanks for the info dysan !
Not sure if I want to play it at home yet; if I do, will let you know in case the song has been drastically edited (hey, maybe the "medley" was taken out!)
Interestingly, you can also get playable picture postcards in Eastern Europe / Russia which although just using random touristy pictures are actually offical.
Your post is very helpful to get some effective tips to reduce weight properly. You have shared various nice photos of the same. I would like to thank you for sharing these tips. Surely I will try this at home. Keep updating more simple tips like this. https://royalcbd.com/cbg-cbda-cbn-cbc-cbdv/
