Hi everybody!
Does anyone of you have an original Strange Frontier USA LP with different track order?
As you know 'It's An Illusion' track there is a standalone one with no fast transition into 'I Cry For You' (next track is 'Racing In The Streets').
Owners of this LP please clarify the information:
Is there any additional sounds at the very end of the track after the last crash? Possibly there must be some additional piano chords...
Thanks in advance.
Wait, there's no segue or transition between "Illusion" and "Cry" on the UK Edition. The track ends on the last bass+cymbal hit.
There's no break between the songs, but I'm not hearing them as connected in anyway.
Am I missing something?
I always thought that the Its An Illusion track with the piano outro was only present like that on the master tape and never released for the public.
Now if it is like that on the US vinyl pressing, then that would be a revelation to me!
Funny, I just found a promo of this (2 actually!) at a local record store today. I just checked it out and it has nothing after the last crash (there is a little piano thing before the crash in the background). It does seem to end abruptly.
Hope that helps!
I have 5 several cassette tape editions of Strange Frontier and the USA tape is the only one that does have a different track order!
All editions (FR,JAP,EEC & JAP) have the following tracklisting:
1.Strange Frontier
2.Beautiful Dreams
3.Man On Fire
4.Racing In The Street
5.Masters Of War
6.Killing Time
7.Abandon Fire
8.Young Love
9.It's An Illusion
10.I Cry For You
The USA edition runs:
1.Man On Fire
2.I Cry For You
3.It's An Illusion
4.Racing In The Street
5.Master Of War
6.Strange Frontier
7.Beautiful Dreams
8.Abandonfire
9.Killing Time
10.Young Love
Not sure about the different segues as my USA tape is still sealed!
