a full video tape of knebworth is in the archives, i don't think anyone has discussed this topic, there is “proof” because of all the clips that are in those fantastic documentary makers “do-ro’s compilations.
What do we all think?
Haven't they said repeatedly that the only professional footage is what DoRo shot for The Magic Years, which is the footage used in subsequent documentaries? Basically, that there is no full footage of the concert as a result. However, the audio apparently exists.
At least that was the official word a while ago.
And maybe... Just maybe... Freddie is alive and living on an island paradise like Ibiza! He's been spending his days living out the lyrics to Don't Stop Me Now and having a ball! He's just waiting for that one phone call from John so the whole band can get back together and take the whole world by storm...again! John... What are you waiting for?
Hey! Wouldn't that be nice? I can create a fantasy scenario too! LOL (Maybe I went a little overboard? :P)
Like it's been stated many times before... Knebworth was NOT filmed. The only professional footage that exists is the bits that were filmed by DoRo for The Magic Years and a crappy tape of the live feed that projected on to the big screens by an audience member. And that is it... It's a very sad fact, but apparently it's true. We just have to accept that fact and move on.
You guys have already seen most of the Knebworth footage that is from the documentary camera. Sure some scenes are longer, but nothing substantial. The same goes for Mannheim 86. In Knebworth's case, the only complete song from the documentary camera is Is This The World We Created...?, which is already available on the Champions of the World VHS. I have also uploaded the clip onto youtube too.

This topic has been discussed several times. If there is footage, it would be on the internet. I mean, look at all of the bootlegs Queen has. Also, Brian has said there isn't. Take that for what you will.
Still, I find it a little odd that they didn't film the final show.

I had a brain fart. What do you expect when I'm up trolling the boards at 3AM in the morning? Chillax dude ;)
I ment final show as in the final of the tour.
===========================
Why would they, the set list hadn't changed and they had 3 or 4 shows already filmed to document the tour.
^ what he said.
And ... what Brian said:
"All it needed was for someone in our team to put a tape machine on the end of either the screen mix or the cameras themselves. No-one did. So it all went into the Ether, and is, by now, about 20 light years away, on its way to ... well, anyone out there who is watching in our corner of the Galaxy. The chances of them beaming it back to us, so we can have another chance to record it, must be pretty remote !"
It has been said a million times before - the only footage from Knebworth that exists is the documentary footage filmed by the DoRo team and One Vision from the TV Anglia report, nothing else was filmed
