Why are CD's (or albums) from British bands so delayed for North America?
(Please don't reply with bashes on the colonies/states; my intent is not to start a flame war here).
Is it because of the different music labels, to build suspense or the lack of potential sales?

why would they re-release an album they did with a legendary peer?
