To those who've read Brian latest soapbox entry, we're you equally amazed at him effectively complaining about the game makers trying to make people but the same thing over and over again when they've already got loads of money?
Oh how I laughed at the irony.....
made me laugh to:)
Hmmm, i have paid again and again for f.e. the Bo Rhap..
On vinyl single and album, CD NATO, CD 5.1 NATO, CD greatest Hits, DVD, DVD greatest hits, several live versions.. (did i forget some??)
And still i am paying royalties for something i have allready paid for.. But now in a slightly different format.. for which the artist basicly didnt do anything for.. Wonder why we have to pay again and again for those royalties..
BTW: i enjoy the multitacks most:):)

He's got a point about how micro-transactions are hurting gaming.
I don't see any irony though. The day that you need to pay a dollar to unlock a guitar solo in a song - that would be irony.

Yeah, it's turned me off plenty of otherwise great games. I was big on a flightsim for a while called Rise of Flight. Only decent World War 1 sim out there, but the cocksuckers expect paying customers to shell out extra money for other plane models. Bearing in mind that the cost of 5 or so more planes is basically the cost of the entire game.
Cretins. I stopped playing it.

I have to say I find the mental image of Brian vegging out on Angry Birds to be utterly amazing and I wish I could see it in real life.
