Teaser Medley:
Just listened to Crazy Little Thing Called Love (PiotreQ Remix) : Great!
PS: The part between 3:04 - 3:34 seems like a songs of Dire Straits!!
Good work!!!
My favourite track is the first track:
I love Scandal and the 12" is fantastic and WWRY should be in my Queen "TOP TEN", but never have imagined mashup so .... perfect with the "Live and studi" at the end!!
Thanks! You know what, the WWRY remix was the last one added to the tracklist, the package was even uploaded and waiting for its time ;-) but in the event I decided to add it to the package :-)

Thanks! Yeah, that was exactly what I thought. However as of CLTCL I actually wanted to make it a bit similar to the live version when they played that last part like the were not gonna finish it at all :-)
This will give me something to listen to at the weekend! Love the teasers for WWRY and GaGa - if the rest of the mix is like that, it might even make the song listenable for me. :)
I shall report back when I've heard them...
This is very Exciting I do like this very much Thankyou!
My Favourites are Teo Torriate Stone Cold Crazy Your my Best Friend Show Must Go On-remix and Im in Love with My Car..Stunning!
OK, I've listened to most of these now, and for the most part, I'm really impressed! I really like WWRY/Scandal, but my favourite has to be Radio Ga Ga. If it were me, I'd have made the drums even bigger, but I actually think you've done it just right - this is the first time Ga Ga will be on my playlist!
As for the others, I've covered Hammer To Fall and TSMGO in other posts, so I won't go over those again, but as for the rest...
Best Friend, Teo, and DSMN - all great orchestral merges - DSMN sounds like that was probably the hardest work, matching tempo, but you've done it well. It's surprising how well Teo Toriatte works with an orchestra - but I guess it's the sort of song that would do. All nice work.
I have to admit, IILWMC, CLTCL and Stone Cold Crazy, although technically good mixes, personally, I found them slightly over-extended, but others will probably like them more. Particularly with CLTCL, there's very little that can be done with a song that it very basic and sparse in the first place, and I felt that one dragged on a bit.
The only one I felt really didn't work was Leroy Brown. I got what you were trying to do, and I expect it took quite a bit of work, but it seemed a little bit messy to me. Mixing live and studio tracks is always very tricky (which is why I avoid it!), and I don't really think that one came off too well.
Overall, though, an excellent and entertaining batch - thanks for all your hard work! :)
Thanks Fickle for taking your time and making the review ;-) Glad you like it.
I have to agree with you in most of points.
As for CLTCL, IILWMC and SCC - yeah, they are actually much extended but I'm happy that other listeners like them. I think that sometimes if some people like some track a lot, they have never enough of additional minutes with alternative mix added :-)
Leroy Brown - actually I really like this one, maybe because I always (long before acapella surfaced) wanted to mix a live version with the acapella supplied in bonus EP of the latest remasters. Let's say 'a kind of dream which come true' - only 1:16 so it wouldn't hurt anybody I hope ;-)
The orchestral ones - these are probably the most time consuming tracks because of matching tempo, just like you wrote, however DSMN has been made within an hour or so lol
WWRY/Scandal was also an idea which was in my mind a few years ago but without the stems - you know how it is :-)
As for Radio Ga Ga - i think it was the hardest work from this batch and I'm gald that you like it a lot. Maybe some day I will make a video for this one and WWRY/Scandal as well ;-)
Thanks a lot again for your review!
It was a pleasure, Piotre, and you know, sometimes you just have to do things that you want to do, for yourself, as with Leroy Brown. If others like it, that's a bonus, and if they don't, who cares!
I'll have to dig out my Play The Game and Champions orchestrals sometime. I seem to recall, PTG took ages and is made up of many bits, due to tempo matching. All good fun!
A little update: all the tracks (including instrumental versions) can be downloaded in one 2CD batch right here: link
There will be one more music video to one of these remixes :-)
