Hi I had a pair of tix for Sonisphere, I definitively want to go to the Hammersmith (and as a hardcore fan, coming from France) but no e-mail from no-one for the pre-sale... :( Could anybody help me? Just give me any link please, I've got my reservation number for Sonisphere... Many thanks in advance |

Anyone care to share the presale link as I never received the email. |
Queen1973 17.04.2012 08:34 |
The pre sale link wont work as u have to sign into your ticketmaster account i think? |
JohnMc 17.04.2012 08:51 |
If you want to post your email address I'll forward the email I got on to you. I can't go as I'm on holiday. The link works fine, no need to sign into any ticketmaster account. |

Iwas on the ball this morning at 9am prompt. I wanted circle seats, as my daughter who is attending this gig is not really tall & I thought seating would be better than stalls standing. The 3 seats that I got allocated, were restricted viewing, so the timer was on a count down, it said on the webpage, if I did not want those seats to release them & try again for different seats, I did this, only to find that no seats were available now. This all happened within 4 minutes. so I had to get stalls standing in the end, just hope a 6 foot person does not stand in front of my daughter. Wish I had chose the restricted viewing seats now. But think about it, fan club members, Queenonline members & a possible 160,000 sonisphere ticket holders all trying to secure a possible 10,000 tickets over 2 days, the odds were not very good. |

Last week i was told that dissabled tickets were going on sale today tues.Rang number redial from9am,got thru at 10.30,told to try again tomorrow as pre sale had sold out first concert. This really sucks! Why dont Queen announce a proper tour of GB to allow Irish,Scottish,Welsh and fans around England a chance to see them in concert. At the moment its just for the Fan Club,Online Members and those who were going to Sonisphere.I will try again tomorrow ,but i know its pretty hopeless. Are there any other Queen fans who are a bit pissed off? |

I logged on at 9am exactly and got the tickets I wanted. Unfortunately sometimes it is luck of the draw when getting through to these things. I remember the fan club ticket link for the Brixton gig in 2005 was. Nightmare for me and kept crashing and simply wasn't set up right by ticket web. After all the hassle, and the fact that it was labeled as a fan club only gig, tickets went on same to the general public a few days before the gig anyway. I hope you get the tickets you want once the public sale opens. |

I logged on at 9am dead on couldnt buy any seats, all i was offered was standing. It seems all tickets gone now, pre-sale is sold out but guys do we know if it has sold out both nights COMPLETELY, or if more will go on sale via ticketmaster 2moro for general sale? |

cjhill 17.04.2012 13:52 |
yeah i see that now thanks. I would buy these in a heartbeat if i knew that more 'seats' werent being released 2moro, thats the million $ question. The thing with standing is having to get there hours before the gig and queue to get a decent space only for some 7ft giant to be stood right in front of you :-p |
Roger's Beard 17.04.2012 14:52 |
How come they're only selling Stalls on the pre-sale? At 9am, that's ALL there was :( Who ever thinks that Stalls are the best seats and that every Queen fan will want them wants bloody shooting. Some of us can't stand that long without aching, but what choice do I have if I want to make sure I get a ticket? I'll be online for the general sale tomorrow to try and book SEATS and then it's off to ebay with my stalls tickets... |
cjhill 17.04.2012 15:04 |
i expect because Sonisphere was a festival where naturally you would stand lol. However i agreen, not everyone wants to stand |

i would only bother with this tinpot (apology for an excuse for queen) if they were charging 1975 Hammy Odeon prices |
Richard Orchard 17.04.2012 16:08 |
i have got a ticket for the Thursday show. I bought it about 4 hours into the pre-sale. i thought they would have all gone by then. took me a while to think about it. did i want to go, etc.... i hope the setlist is a bit interesting. i am a bit tired of hearing the same songs over and over again. |
A Word In Your Ear 17.04.2012 16:14 |
You know what really pisses me off is, if you go on ebay, there are already people (most likely the Sonisphere "non Queen Fan" crowd) selling tickets on at extortionate marked up prices. They have deprived some genuine Queen fans at getting a ticket at a true cost. Ticketmasters are a joke, & my god, 160,000 sonisphere ticket holders, what was the point of having an exclusive pre-sale??? |
Queen1973 17.04.2012 16:34 |
Ok firstly im from wales and booked week off for sonisphere and bought tickets, now i have to have the week after off and pretend to be ill as i know work wont change it, if i loose my job its worth it, this could be the last time to see queen live. And secondly sonisphere only sold 2000 tickets so stop thinking 160000 ticket holders for presale lol if they sold that many sonisphere it wouldnt be cancelled lol. And standing is more fun. Sit at home and watch a dvd if ur so old. |
A Word In Your Ear 17.04.2012 17:31 |
kevinhairsineevans wrote: Sit at home and watch a dvd if ur so old.Hmmm!!! A patronising Person!!! For the record I have stood at more concerts than you have ever known, Knebworth 1986 being one of them, Cardiff Q+PR 2008, I was stood up front & I too had tickets for the Sonisphere gig, so I was all prepared for standing. Just when They announced "Hammersmith" I told my young daughter she could go to it, hoping to get seats, so what you are saying, she should, be happy to not see anything because some big 6 footer is stood in front of her. No!! we are going to get there early, to get the best possible place, but the trade off will be a long wait out side the venue, where it might become awkward if she needs the loo. So get off your high horse, & think about not everyone has the easy life, what you gonna say next, Philip Storey should stop Moaning about the fact he wanted dissabled seating & He should stay at home, hard lines, if he's dissabled, he should watch a dvd!!! |

Went straight in at 9am and got row B seats - happy! Hoping it's not all a letdown. My biggest musical regret in life is not seeing Queen proper in my youth. This left me with a first brief viewing at the Mandela Birthday concert in 2008, which was great. Followed by their O2 concert that Autumn, which was a *huge* letdown - left me utterly unmoved. And finally, Brian's gig with Kerry Ellis at the Albert Hall a year ago, which was just odd, but with moments of brilliance. This is my one last chance, and bringing my teenage daughter along for the experience... |
Russian Headlong 18.04.2012 14:08 |
lucky enough to have seen Queen twice with fred and pr twice. i won't waste money watching brian and roger pissing on the legacy with this lambert cunt. |
Micrówave 18.04.2012 14:58 |
Is that really necessary Russian Headlong? I have to laugh at a lot of you with the Adam Lambert name calling. No, he's definitely not my cup of tea... but a "cunt"? and other names? Trying to figure out why you're all so mad at him. Brian approached him... not vice versa. Does this make Brian May a "cunt" as well? Why the double-standard? If it's because YOU haven't been on TV, secured a record deal, sexually confused, or have lots and lots of money... then ok. |
Russian Headlong 18.04.2012 15:08 |
lambert is not worthy in my opinion. brian and rogers taste since 1992 has had some shockers: 5ive, dappy, the pepsi ads, robbie williams, lambert is the latest. i stand by my view lambert is a cunt (i.e a karaoake/c lebrity) not fit to sing for queens of the stone age let alone queen. jeff scott soto would be better. its just my view. |

yeah. sold out. Lots of "ticket touting" going on as well. BM website says they MIGHT consider adding another show night. |

Got my tickets for the stalls 12th july, woop!! Can't wait. Ps those who had had problems with tickets if u go to hmvapollo.com you can get tix there too. As of last night they still had some seated tix left in blocks 2 & 5 as well a stalls. Can't guarantee be any left now but worth a try as ticketmaster were shite!! See u all there |
queenUSA 19.04.2012 07:19 |
Thanks I tried it again - but all signs point to a sell out and the official Queen site is posting sold out on both shows - with a reported comment from Brian's site that the idea of adding another night is a MAYBE right now. I hope they do to help satisfy demand! Bummed that I couldn't get a ticket, despite repeated attempts. Is it possible that it is set up to block overseas sales? |
