Alright, so here's my take on this nugget. It's pretty much a perfect pop song and probably my favorite Queen song so there's really nothing I could do to improve it. I just wanted to see what, if anything, I could do.
So, here I am playing games with eq and effects. I like it, I had fun making it, now I'm really sick of working on it. Believe it or not I put in a lot of time on this. Now I really want to go do something else. Like not listen to Queen for a while.
Hope someone appreciates it. And brENsKi, if you try to tell me this isn't a remix, I will reach through your monitor and poke you with a stick. ;) link
I think that's alright! The only bits I'm not sure of are the second and third times it goes back into that 'radio' sound, which seem a little bit jarring, but the rest of it is fine, and at least you've done something with the whole track, not just one or two bits of it. :)
that's quite interesting, a bit of a 90s feel to it
the old-time radio effect coulda been ditched after the first time (as fickle says) - but you coulda brought it back for the fade out, maybe drifting in and out of it, amyeb using an underwater or cher "believe" autotune effect
that said...i ...like it
Whew. Thanks for the feedback guys, I'm very pleased that you liked it.
I was thinking that the radio effect might be a bit much. Maybe I'll try to fix it sometime. Does it sound too shrill to your ears? I really tried to tame it a little but there were some frequencies in there that were kinda bugging me.
Anyway, thanks for listening.

I think it's just a little bit overused, Michael. The intro is fine, but cutting back to it from normal sound quality doesn't sound quite right. It's one of those effects that works one way, but not the other, if you get what I mean.
Yeah, I understood what you meant. My reply was a little confusing I guess.
That's interesting about the effect working one way and not the other. You're right! I hadn't really thought of it that way. It's such a nice moment when full fidelity kicks in. The trick really is not to overuse it.
I think there's probably a way to transition into the radio sound a bit better (in the middle of the song). I'd like it to happen twice in the song. More than that is overkill.
I'll give it another pass later.
I like it! I listened to it four times in a row, and I think it's a good remix, which has power and more balanced instruments than the original. The only thing which might could annoy is the volume differences, but despite of that it's a very good work!

Hey, thanks for the kind words. I really appreciate it.
I was gonna try another pass at this mix but went to load it up and now I can't find it. I'm not about to try and recreate everything so that's it. I'm done.
And now on to something else.
