"Barcelona wasn't fantastic?"
No, stop being a gusher.. Barcelona was very average with 2 or 3 standout tracks.
I havent listened to it for about 20 years its so good....

Mr. Bad Guy suffered from a weak drum machine and average players.
quality control.
all of their solo albums suffered without the critical input of the other three to rein them in a little when they start to disappear up their own egos
it happens. take away your usual peer group and replace them with a crowd of fawning sychophants depserate to be part of your inner circle and what you get is something that sounds a little like the artist w*nking off
Mr. Bad Guy is the penultimate example of what Queen would've been without Brian and Roger, and to a lesser extend, John.
