Rock giants Queen are searching for a mystery baby born at their massive 1986 Knebworth concert as they prepare to return to the venue this summer.
In a case of Radio Ga Ga, the band, who played at Knebworth Park on August 9 on the last night of their A Kind Of Magic tour, want to find the boy or girl, now aged 25, who was born in perhaps the noisiest delivery room in history.
The band are due to make an emotional return to Knebworth when they headline Sonisphere festival in July – the setting for their last ever show with lead singer Freddie Mercury who died in 1991.
To mark the event original band members Brian May and Roger Taylor want to meet the tiny gatecrasher, who decided I Want To Break Free in the middle of 120,000 fans.

Wasn't someone also murdered at Knebworth? I always thought it was weird having both happen, but I guess it was to happen sooner or later, why not during Freddie's last concert with Queen? Could of done without the killing, though.
If they can't find the baby maybe somebody could hold Lambert upside down by the feet and spank him on the ass every time he starts that screamy thing instead.

believe me. We will have some 1986 knebworth footage this year, Unless they decide to tour with adam lame-bert thruought europe. If that's the case we'll have another queen++ dvd release, which i am not buying.
Poor little bugger.
Imagine if he grew up to be a Queen fan.
I was 15 in 1986 and on the day that my Mum had promised to take me to town and buy tickets to Knebworth, she changed her mind.
I've lived the last 25 years feeling a little sad about being SO close to actually seeing my favorite band live, but I'd hate it even more if I'd actually been there and been WAAAAY too young to even know it.

Yes there was a death. I've heard several versions of what happen, but I'm guessing queenlive.ca has the most accurate info.
"A baby was born in the audience at some point in the evening, but someone was killed as well. A fan climbed a lighting tower to get a better view, but fell onto someone who was none too pleased and subsequently stabbed him. St. John's Ambulance was called, but their fight through the crowd took too long and the victim died." - queenlive.ca
There's also a link to a newspaper article about it on the site.
I hate it how Queenonline has never said anything about the death. Wasn't the killing one of the reasons why Freddie didn't want to tour anymore? Aside from the AIDS factor, of course.
I guess that is why there is so much security at concerts these days. You always have to watch out for your own comfort and safety in a large group though.
