I mean - are there?? I don't think there are. I want someone knowledgeable to answer this. |
| Thistle 06.03.2012 17:24 |
Yes. In places like Africa and the Caribbean. FFS. |
| Fireplace 06.03.2012 17:44 |
Who would you consider knowledgeable? Obama? Nelson Mandela? Marten Luther King? I hope it's not a serious question. If you mean to say that Queen are predominantly a WASP-band, you're probably right. If you actually think there are no black Queen-fans, think again. Just look up the history of Another One Bites The Dust on Days Of Our Lives and listen to what Roger has to say about it. |
| Micrówave 06.03.2012 18:13 |
Well abc1, that's quite a loaded question. Of course there are, just like there are some black folk that like country music. Unfortunately the music business does not recognize this but instead use demographics to judge this. Were Queen big on the Black charts? No, not even during the Hot Space era. Neither was Bob James. But if you look at the most sampled music used in hip hop, it would be Queen and Smooth Jazz Bob. So I would say that, most certainly there are black fans of Queen. You just have to interpret it. |

Kind of an odd question, I'm sure there's Queen fans of most ethnic groups. Another One Bites The Dust was very popular on black stations when it was released if that counts |

HOT TOPIC. 'The March of the Black Queen' is truly one of the greatest Queen records ever. I'm sure it's on many a fan's favorites list. |

Are there any lefthanded Queen fans....Stupid....I'm black or what you want to call it, people just gets so exiceted about these things...Live at the bowl baby.. |

Does it matter? Just as, would it matter if they employed a black singer or bassist to play live, as long as they could do the job? |
| Winter Land Man 07.03.2012 08:40 |
Speaking of that, I'm sure Allan Dias formerly of PiL, likes some Queen. |
| Queen1973 07.03.2012 09:31 |
Are there any white queen fans? |
| Micrówave 07.03.2012 10:13 |
I was really never into that track. |

There was a black guy who used to go to the UK conventions, may be he still does. He was proper mad though. Then again most people there were a bit mad, except me of course - I'm completely sound. I also have a photo I took at the 'Friends' video shoot, there is a different black guy in the crowd. I guess that means there are at least two black fans in the UK. I also know there is a least one gay fan. |

I'm a Black Queen fan. I love March Of The Black Queen. |

Well I don't know, but there was a murderer who was being held at a prison nearby to my hometown, apparently he would carve Queen lyrics into the walls of his cell. I gather from this that he was something of a Killer Queen fan. Thank you very much |

In Brazil the colour of the skin and mostly the ethnical background are not linked to musical taste, so that makes the topic seem bizarre to us. Over here rock is not linked to white people and funk, for instance, is not linked to the black population. I think the fact that most of us are a blend of colors is one of the reasons for that. Multicolured cheers, Ogre- |

Of course there is, didn't they go and play in south Africa, duh. |
| Bo Alex 08.03.2012 08:13 |
Of course there are. Why not? Black people are people. Queen plays music. People like music. |
| Your Fairy King 09.03.2012 20:00 |
I'm sure there were lots of black queens at the Sun City gigs. |

I knew an older lady who was a teacher. She told me she was a Queen fan and would be interested in attending one of their concerts. She was black. She has now passed away. |
| Gaabiizz 10.03.2012 11:44 |
I think it's a question a bit stupid |
| john bodega 10.03.2012 11:48 |
I hope not. |

Quite a few ethnic friends on my facebook like the Queen page, a few of which are black, though I do find this an absurd question. |

No, there are no black queen fans. The Sun City gigs were famously attended by white people, as is evident from the interviews of South African Queen fans about to attend the concert. The fact is that Queen is the most racist band in history, with racist title such as: Hangman (about lynching black people) The Prophet's Song (a hiddeen message about white supremacism) Innuendo (a hint about white supremacy lasting until the end of time) Headlong (about white hot ladies, who should steer clear of men of different colour) Staying Power (another appraisal of white supremacy) and numerous others, goodness, they are simply terrible ignorant people! |

"Here we are, born to be kings." We Will Rock You is directed at black people So is Who Needs You Another One Bites the Dust is also about lynching black people (the fact that it is funk is a humorous irony) Finally, although White Man could be mistaken as bashing white people, it's actually saying that white men are and should be conquering the world. Okay, I'm done. Damn, I feel like a really terrible person now. :P |

Reportedly, Freddie hated people of foreign origin, particularly Eastern countries. |
