For a man so utterly passionate with love i have the feeling that there was always something missing.
With Mary it must have been something very special but not complete.
With Jim Hutton seemed closer but again he's been portrayed so "sexually over-charged" by the time he met him that its blurring the concept of falling in love.Or at least the idealistic aspect of it.
What is your views on it?
From what Freddie himself has said nobody could come close to Mary in the love that he had for her
He said himself that they felt that they had a marraige and they went around acting like they were married
maybe he just didnt want to give too much of himself away to anybody if that makes sense
