As nobody else has posted this I thought I'd do it myself. Thought is was really good actually, nice to hear Brian so up beat.

Been filmed as well.
Ah, you beat me to it...
i was actually thinking of putting it listed as 110th Idea worse than Adam Lambert Fronting Queen... from the last forum.
ah well... i'll listen to it.
sadly.
Dappy sucks elephant butt.
Thanks for the link. I really enjoyed that! Brian sounds awesome -- he should record in that studio some more. And the Dappy version of WWRY was enjoyable. He did something different with it, which is good to hear.
I recorded the two performances off the BBC websites' online streams using Adobe Audition 1.5 (48kHz/16-bit WAVE), and until I can post a new topic for this in the Sharing Announce forum (there's a bug preventing new topics from being able to be created!), in the meantime here they are as FLAC's:

I don't really know what to say about this. The intro was nice, Dappy seemed genuinely in awe. Then the song started. Didn't bother with Rock Star is it is not something I would like to hear again.
"Better not be Jeff Beck!". Ha ha. I'm still at work at 7:40 and listening to Brian is officially the best thing that's happened to me since I should have gone home 3 hours ago. I've given Rockstar 3 or 4 tries in a couple of different forms and it's just not my thing. But I'd put that version of WWRY on my iPod. Dappy's work was good enough and not dull - and dull would have been easy to do for a rapper on a song that's permeated the culture to the degree that WWRY has. Brian sounded great. I don't know Dappy or his work very well but it feels like there is a real musician in there even if that musicianship is usually directed at stuff I can't get into. Same reason I can respect Gaga and not like all of what she does.
Well... all in all it was like hearing the verses from Def Leppard (aghh... [[[[cringes at mention of that name]]]]])
...like...
that band's "POUR SOME SUGAR ON ME"
so i wouldn't exactly call it new.
Thought i'd post the video of it link
I thought Dappy was much better then I would have given him credit for
I found this comment humorous however
'Not as bad as I was expecting, would have been better if Brian smashed Dappy over the head with the Red Special but? it could have been worse'
Dappy at 1:54:
"I told you I could sing."
If you have to state it, you probably can't do it. It was fine, but as everything Queen and Brian do these days, rather pointless. Is there anyone in the civilized world who hasn't heard WWRY and is there anyone who has been longing for Brian and Dappy to do it?
No it wasn't a lame point Senna. No trouble with Brian working with anyone, and good on him reaching a bit for a new artist. I do find it funny that he said it, as the point is, obviously people have said to him that he can't sing. It's like the guys singing about how much money they have, how big their dicks are, how fine their rides are. You don't hear Monserrat saying that she can sing, or Brian crowing about his guitar playing. It's a genre thing that cracks me up. Still don't see the need for the 100th celebrity go at WWRY though.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!!
NOBODY TOLD ME SATCH WAS SICK!!...what happened to the guy???
omg, poor man... he looks so freaking small these days.
Agghhh.... Sending my prayers to Joe Satriani.... i had no idea he had such massive health issues.
poor guy. Can't even pick up his guitar. His voice is all hoarse....and he sounds demented.
Brian is really in a class of his own to give the man some star time. What a true friend.
God Bless you, Brian!!!!
