Do we know yet how long they will be on stage and who else will be joining them? I think they will get Spike for piano stuff Maybe Jamie Moses and Danny Miranda for guitar and bass stuff |
Cruella de Vil 23.02.2012 05:54 |
Yeah, can't wait to hear Adam Lambert crank out Hangman, Liar or squeeze more notes known to mankind into every note of White Queen! Come on here people, who knows what they will do beyond a mash up of Greatest Hits. Although, guaranteed they won't do C-Lebrity! Maybe they will use those wanna-be singers from the woebegotten 'Queen Extravganza"? (I mean just to add to the 'integrity' factor!). So sad, it ends....... |
Richard Orchard 23.02.2012 07:30 |
probably exactly the same as the last tour.... greatest hits.... This time i hope that there will be more Freddie songs. Certainly possible with Adam's range. i have got my tickets. I will probably go. I do think that Adam is a much better fit for Queen music than PR..... by a mile. |
FlorianS 23.02.2012 09:43 |
Line up: Same as 2008 apart from Adam Lambert. Set List: Greatest Hits. This will be a Festival Aucience, not a Queen Audience, so why should they do any stuff apart from the hits everybody knows? |
Micrówave 23.02.2012 10:19 |
you think they could get a couple of better players in the rhythm section? |
plumrach 23.02.2012 13:02 |
Jamie Moses is on Facebook and he has just said he wont be involved as there will be a smaller band used than for the Q+PR stuff |
Micrówave 23.02.2012 13:07 |
It was only he, Spike, and Danny. So I guess no 2nd guitar this time. They'll still need a keyboard player and bassist... unless.... Queen Tracked |

Just looked up Danny Miranda and Spike Edney on FB and no mention of doing anything with Brian and Roger yet anyway |
Donna13 23.02.2012 13:39 |
I think some of the songs that they didn't do with Paul. Nevermore would be good with Adam's range. The Night Comes Down. Lily of the Valley. Some of the early stuff would be great. |
bri246 23.02.2012 14:49 |
early stuff and later stuff |
Matias Merçeauroix 23.02.2012 15:17 |
Spike sucks, they should hire a decent keyboard player. Not an incredibly amazing one, just a decent one. Spike CAN'T play. |
A Word In Your Ear 23.02.2012 15:28 |
my set list would include the following:- Ga ga (Roger singing) Days of Our Lives (Roger singing) Im in Love with My Car (Roger Singing) 39 (Brian Singing) Love of my life (Brian Singing) & then any other song from the Japanese Queen Album "Queen Greatest Karioke Hits" |
Biggzy10 23.02.2012 17:01 |
Guys, do you really think they would play stuff from Queen I or anything not Greatest Hits? They're playing at a festival not a Queen concert. Queen never even played half the songs live that you guys are suggesting. |

My vote: Get Down Make Love After all it's a festival and Adam knows how to sell a song like that. |

I think some people are posting what they want to happen, not what probably will happen. While we're dreaming, how about Great King Rat, Father to Son, Ogre Battle, Ride the Wild Wind, an Was it all Worth it? |

The Real Wizard 24.02.2012 00:44 |
Why would they fly Danny Miranda in from the States if they can hire someone like Neil Murray who lives down the street? |
fr1986 24.02.2012 06:36 |
i hope it doesn't grow into a big tour, because if it does, it also means that by the end of the year we will have anmother queen+ dvd release instead of something from the old queen. I don't know. it's my thought |

Spike CAN'T play.Spike has been with Queen since The Works tour, then The Cross, the Brian May Band and Queen+PR. If they didn't like his playing they'd have replaced him by now. I fully expect Spike to be there unless he has some serious other commitment. Queen can do without a second guitarist but they need a keyboard player. |

Wait, they are touring with a smaller lineup than with P.Rodgers? Queen should have in their touring lineup: A string section. A horn section. The two aformentioned sections should be arranged into every single song, regardless of how the original song was arranged. Some guitar solos should be played on sax, just to give Dr. May time to recover. Two additional guitarists who are not visible to the paying audience, yet audible. Again, for a fuller sound. And if B.M forgets what to play, they will fill in. An additional drummer to fill in when Roger gets tired. Also, not visible to the crowd. Roger will remain behind the kit, that's what we pay for. Six or seven female backing vocalists to create those Queen harmonies. Because they sure as hell cannot sing live. A vibrato control module for Adam Lambert. You know what this is for. |
OwenSmith 01.03.2012 16:01 |
If you don't like it don't listen. I'd rather see Queen playing gigs than not playing. |
nandabellini 01.03.2012 16:43 |
for me no matter the set list ... what matters is to see Roger and Brian! would be a dream come true ... Unfortunately, I live in Brazil and is very expensive to go on this show, but if someone wants to sponsor me I accept! |

If they have any balls, or any wish to kick in the nostalgia... even a laugh... they will open DRAMATICALLY.... with "Now i'm Here" (body doubles included.... frills for the first song and a laugh) that would break the ice. -just saying |
kosimodo 02.03.2012 15:40 |

I like the idea of a section with just Brian and Roger... Hopefully they do sing lead vocals at least once each |
Donna13 03.03.2012 22:54 |
Makes you wonder how much they could potentially put into this one show. I mean, they could even write some new songs. I can't see them wanting to perform in front of such a large audience without pulling out all the stops. |
