I have a mile wide smile across my face when I have just listened to this. Wow!!!! that 80's sound, on a 70's song, remixed in 2012.
I would have loved that to come out officially in the 80's would have been a sure hit!!!!
well done!!!!
I love this song, but hate 'that' 80's sound - however, this is just sooo good, and it works so well!
Excellent, well done, this has gone straight on my iPod, and I hope this gets the recognition it deserves. :)
Thank you thank you thank you people!
I'm happy to hear you're enjoying it...even more so in light of the fact that the track has been 'officially approved' by Dr. Bri! Got his email this morning saying how much he liked it...
Now this was a really good weekend! :)
Wow! what did he say??

Congratulations! I've never had the nerve to send him any of mine, not least because I thought he might sue me for copyright violations! It would be very interesting to hear what he said. :)
I really enjoyed listening. This is brilliant, a great and unusual take. Now one of my favourite Queen remixes. Thank you.
(and what did Sir Brian say?)
Well done! I'm shocked how well this works :o
On an aside, any chance I could ask you for a FLAC copy of both this remix and your remix of Fat Bottomed Girls? :)
I'm Glad Dr Bri Liked it. Just listened again & it reminded me a little of those early 1980's ELO sounds.
Also, it's a lot better mix than those "Modern Style" official remixes that "Hollywood Records" put on their released albums in the 90's.
Well done again..
stunning
you turned an decade i hated into something interesting and enjoyable
love the Phil Oakey/Gorgio Morodo synth sound.... really brings back Electric Dreams in places, also hear some elements of Queen's 80s "synth dalliance" in there too
lovely job
Perhaps he doesn't want to give it away in lossless format?
The least he could do is state his preference to keep the originals to himself or not.
Frankly, that really annoys me when people repeatedly ignore my questions/requests. Same thing with regards to his FBG remix, I asked for a lossless copy, no response. Seriously, what gives?

You can't be that clueless, can you? HE owns something that is HIS, YOU ask for something that is HIS, and YOU get pissy when he doesn't reply? Incredible.
The FBG mix is great too, but I've only managed to listen on small laptop speakers far, and I wonder if there are a couple of little timing issues? Will listen properly over the next few days, but it sounds really fun.
