Hi,
in 2005 I have bought from the 7digital site all the 46 files of "Europe Live Download 2005" by Queen + Paul Rodgers.
Now, after some change of PC, I want to play again these files but I have an error with Windows Media Player and I can no more play these files.
How can I restore the original licenses (which I made ??a backup of them)?
someone else has encountered the same problem?
thank you
Luca
Maybe is an error with the codecs, try with another software like vlc player, or download a pack with codecs for your version of WMP.
Probably your music files are fine.

I don't believe that It's a problem with the codecs, I have tried with several software (windows media player, vlc, winamp, nero, powerdvd, some converter)
When I open a WMA without protection with WMP, I don't have any error and the file plays fine...
but when I open a protected WMA with WMP (and others software) I have an error of DRM.
I have them and I could share them, but it's official material, so...
the point is not that I don't have these files (I have bought them just released on 7digital site) but that I can not play them because I have a DRM error with windows media player (and other software)

unless you do not have converted them from WMA to some other unprotected format... :-)
this is the answer from 7digital:
"As the music we offer today comes without these restrictions, we have to put a download limit in place. The products on our website come with a 3-5 track limit, as specified by the licence holder providing the files. If you download a song too many times, this will lock your downloads. This is a fair usage policy that we have to implement as part of our agreement with the record labels. You are, of course, free to download the songs initially then copy them to other devices as freely as you choose.
Unfortunately, our change in file format has resulted in the need to drop support for old WMA files. This means that you will not be able to acquire a new license for old files that you might have transferred to a new computer. We are very sorry if this causes you any inconvenience, but hopefully you will still have access to your old machine and we suggest that, if this is the case, you burn all of your DRM-protected files to CD then re-import them into your music player on your new computer."
so, someone has burned those files to CD? :-)

Thanks so much to all who took the time to upload these. Any chance of reuploading the 05 zip? All the links for that one are gone. I'd really appreciate it if possible. Thanks.
