Dappy with brian may new video, also includes brian may in the video in front of his Vox amps and on camera with Dappy. Why didnt Brian may star in the lady gaga video also then. Anyways great tune enjoy. What next?? link
Thanks for sharing this. Much to my surprise it's very listenable, and Brian's solo is cool. Pity it's so short though.
But ... most importantly, Brian looks like fucking rock God here. Good to see him getting a bit of respect.

And here we see the difference between the American and British music businesses. At least the Brits try to salute legends instead of spending every dime on marketing today's fad.
You know, it wasn't as bad as I was expecting. Can't hear much of Brian until the closing section - either too low in the mix or it's a "Don't Stop Me Now video mime" for the guitar work.
Very good video. Great seeing Brian looking like a rock god in HD!
As much as I think Dappy is exactly as his name suggests, I must say I was pleasntly surpirsed by this song - not overly my genre, but quite catchy and he sings well, and not the awful collaboration I had feared.
If I was cynical, I might suggest that Brian's involvement had something to do with contractual things relating to Queen's deal, and Dappy being on Universal/Island too....!!!
Looks like Brian is miming to a synthesiser power chord for most of the track. Why would you get Brian on your track and then only use his real sound for 10 seconds at the end?! Bizarre!
Oh, and by the way, a pet peeve of mine: How can anyone describe Dappy (or anyone else of his genre) as being a good singer, when there is absolutely no evidence on show - just the annoyingly ubiquitous auto-tune effect

Agree completely... auto tune bull$#!+
I actually had to play this at really really LOW VOLUME at work... (and i work at a studio)... i just found the whole thing embarrassing... Like this whole style of music. The solo's not bad...
For me (grew up in the 2000's) It's like listening to a Mandy Moore or GIRL POWER song from that era...
but these days, i think Mandy Moore sounds even harder than this.
Funny how things work out. She's a songwriter (now that i brought her up)
and all this other garbage "Club" music sounds like the muzak crap that was all over 1980's workout videos (when THOSE were popular with old ladies)
it's a weak time for music. Wonder when it's gonna get better. :-/ I'm open to anyone's suggestions if u can recommend a good new band/artist
Back to the song... CONTRACTUAL?? or...maybe Brian just admired the guys lyrics?... :-/ But then again... WHAT lyrics? pop culture references, self posturing b.s. obligatory name dropping of Amy Winehouse..
I dunno. I'll quote my favorite quote from the youtube video comment site:
"What is that horrible noise? Has someone set a bag of cats on fire? The best way to enjoy this video is to mute, and then close your eyes.Only someone with a very serious crack addiction could like this A song with all the class and sophistication of a rag on a stick. It’s a soul-destroying prospect because this is a truly terrible song. It somehow manages to be more? irritating than dippy himself. The mediocrity of dobby only serve to underline what a disgrace to music he is."
"Everytime dobbys song plays on the radio, music itself throws up.And
not even just a little bit either, like when you sick in your mouth and
swallow it back down again, it buckles down on its knees and spews
everywhere until it's just a screaming writhing mess with bits of
small? intestine hanging out its mouth"
i can't help but agree... this is just as bad as 5ive.
