Caught a Jimmy Fallon show about a month ago. Steve Cropper was a guest guitarist with 'The Roots'. During a brief interview, he mentioned a new release titled 'Dedicated' and all the guest artists that performed on it. One being Mr. May.
Just received the disk in the mail yesterday. A great listen from start to finish, and 'I Do' is the type of track that would fit perfectly on a collaborated effort.
Unless I missed the thread, just surprised at the lack of mention regarding this. Definitely worth a listen or two or three.
Well, on the same release, B.B. King and Shemekia Copeland gave the advice of 'Baby, Don't Do It'.
This is right after Steve Winwood and Steve Cropper get together and comment about being a 'Thirty Second Lover'.
You might be on to something.
Or not.

I am the only one on this board to have heard this version.
I feel very....very special.
hahahhaha !! no, you aren't ! :)
I heard it weeks ago but didn't bother mentioning it here nor anywhere else. I really care very little of Brian's activities these days, until he catches my interest with something REALLY good. And my ideas of something really good aren't likely to be happening soon:
1. New music with Roger.
2. Working on Queen archive stuff.
3. A new solo album
