Hey guys! Although I love uploading Queen shows, I also like uploading miscellaneous videos from time-to-time. I have plans to make videos about my favorite Queen shows, what I think are the best Queen shows, and stuff about songs, but my first project is more of a "group effort."
I think this is the best Queen forum on the internet, and we have MANY excellent people here. Bob has that awesome Queenliveca website that I consider a bible for the live performances (and his write-ups influence my Youtube work). There are also a lot of people on here who love the live performances of Queen!
I'll get to the point, there's channels on Youtube that introduce people to Queen's live material, and many people have left me comments and messages about my takes on the best/my favorite shows of the band. It's REALLY hard to pick to be honest (since we have hundreds of recordings).
I want to create a video slideshow on my channel that is based around introducing Queen's live material to people. I want everybody here (who is interested), to name me a list of their favorite shows, recommended shows, and what they think are the best Queen gigs overall. If many people name like 3-5 shows in each category, I'd have an excellent video to upload. Full credits will be given to Queenzone, and the members that list their shows!

PS: It's A Hard Life from London 1984 is excellent.
My favourite shows would be as follows... Queen Live in Tokyo: 5/9/1985 FAVOURITE
This concert has Freddie sounding great, and the others are really fired up too. Amazing versions of IAHL and STL, the latter in particluar is so playful and so unlike the early 80s versions. Prob my favourite Queen gig! Queen Live At Wembley 11.06.86 FAVOURITE
The band are so daring in this concert, possibly trying out some things which they'd want to re-do for the televised gig the next night. I love FWBF and ITLOTG...R. Freddie's voice is amazing at this gig, so rich and melodic. Not as much shouting as in other 86 shows. i love that QPL released this in full last year, a real treat for any Magic Tour lovers. I wonder if they wished they'd been able to have used this one instead of Saturday all those years ago??? Would that even have been an option tho? Queen In Budapest 86 RECOMMENDED
Queen possibly at their very best??? IMO, they are unreachable in this show in terms of craft and for sheer entertainment value. Such a gem to have this show filmed so beautifully. Really can't wait to hearing/seeing it if it get's an official release on Blu Ray? Apart from being on fire, their professionalism shines through, and they really treat their audience with real respect, fully aware of the significance of this gig to the people of Budapest. Princes Of The Universe indeed!
VERY WORTHY MENTIONS.... Queen Live Wembley Arena 1980, either 8th 9th or 10th Dec ?(can't remember which one off hand, but there is one where Freddie delivers a fantastic WATC and Bo Rap, it's the bootleg that had quite a few tape glitches, possibly even a tad too fast?). Whatever one it was, Freddie really performs every song brilliantly and sounds great, and it would be great to hear a better source of this gig :-( GREG, do you know the best versions?
Queen-Live In Birmingham: 8/31/1984
I love the energy in this concert, and enthusiastic crowd. Freddie sounds like he's enjoying himself too. The improvisation just before IAHL is quite funny to listen to, Freddie's chat is cool here.
---------------------
These are my CURRENT favourite gigs... it could easily change by next week lol, sure it's the same with you all. Although I've picked no 70s shows, that doesn't mean I have a dislike of this decade. Some of their best work was done in the 70s, Glasgow 79, Newcastle 79, Copenhagen 78, etc.
IMO, the late 70s probable had them just before their peak, which also gave them their tremendous confidence in the 80s to be arguable the best live act on the planet.
Hope this helps with your project Greg

Greg, I wonder if most fans choose their favourite gigs depending on how good Freddie sang on that particluar night? This is mainly how I pick anyway. It's difficult to say for sure whether the others are having a bad night or not, or even if they are having the best gig ever? (I know we have some bloopers, but these were out of character or moments of sheer forgetfulness).
Thanks for letting us know about the upcoming YouTube channel and hope you will share here the best material for the public. The people who love to have the entertainment stuff they can find online https://topaussiereviews.com/ and enjoy while having it.
