The Queen Extravaganza Pack 02 is downloadable for Rock Band on December 6th for Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii. It contains the following songs: •Queen – “Seven Seas of Rhye” •Queen – “Stone Cold Crazy” •Queen – “I’m in Love With My Car” •Queen – “You’re My Best Friend” •Queen – “Long Away” •Queen – “Bicycle Race” •Queen – “Don’t Stop Me Now” •Queen – “Radio Ga Ga” •Queen – “The Show Must Go On" I think Brian and Roger are personally involved in the song choice. Last year's Queen Extravaganza Pack 01 contained Tenement Funster (non-hit Roger favorite) and this time we get Long Away (non-hit Brian favorite). |

Agreed! That bass line is epic and probably not really something that the regular listener actually hones in on? Aren't most of these new ones already out there in some format? Long Away will be brilliant!! Hopefully some kind soul will post them up as I don't have an X-Box etc.... |

brians wig 15.12.2011 16:34 |
Let's be grateful they don't use the same encryption! As for chopping your cock off, early 70's Aerosmith is great. Much better than their 80's onwards stuff. Same for Alice Cooper! |

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I did. I have a question? How these files are cracked actually? You simply re-record them somehow through line-in from Xbox to PC or using some specified software? Just curious :-) |
john bodega 16.12.2011 03:46 |
I had the Beatles ones for a while but I bloody put them on DVDs and then lost it :S The torrent I got them from isn't being seeded at the moment but I'll keep an eye open. |

PiotreQ wrote: I have a question? How these files are cracked actually? You simply re-record them somehow through line-in from Xbox to PC or using some specified software? Just curious :-) By modifying the song in the game so that each track apart from the one you want has a volume of zero. You then play it through the console, editing the game each time, changing the volume of all the tracks (but one) until you have 10 or so different streams. Then sync in an audio editor. There's no method more intelligent than that for new stuff sadly. Wish it was point and click! |
mooghead 16.12.2011 06:32 |
I've managed to locate some of the Beatles ones. Some of the track separation leaves a lot to be desired. Especially on the earlier songs |

I think the best gift for this 2011 were these stems so let's wait a little bit more for the rest ones. Thank you very much indeed uef! |

Not that rare a breed it appears. I became a Manics fan after Freddie's death and my Red Special is on order for January. Thanks for your work finding the stems by the way, it's really appreciated. |

I've only got a BMG Red Special. But I met a nice old man who signed it for me! - link |
drmurph wrote: How do you play the thing without rubbing off the signature? That was really inconsiderate of that old guy write on it! :)
___ I took it straight from Wales where it got signed to Denmark St in London (with a rolled up sock in the guitar case to hold it away from the lining) where I gave it to a luthier to varnish the whole back surface. So it's now set into the finish. For Manics fans I have a similar one by James Dean Bradfield - link |

Why do 'they' even bother to remove the links when they know fine well in the time it has taken them to find it 28 trillion people have downloaded it and are prepared to share? They might as well offer a Hi Def version for a few quid on a website and make a few quid from the stems (which were only made available out of greed in the first place) QPL = fucking clueless lunatics. |

Or if you've got adobe audition, a google search for an ogg filter (note OGG, not mogg), will work as well, though you have to set your import dialogue box to "all files" rather than "supported files". |

uef 19.01.2012 13:44 |
That's all you're gonna get I'm afraid :( They somehow make the two different - perhaps apply a bit of reverb to one - and treat it as a double-track of sorts. But they're always the same. Remember these come from a game where people have to sing a line - not a choir! |

Sounds like a little guitar effect to me, but no idea if its a mistake or supposed to be a representation of a squeaky clean hub-cap... |
The Real Wizard 20.01.2012 11:33 |
This is incredible stuff. I feel like an archaeologist learning about how the pyramids were built. Isolating the bass and drums in Long Away is recommended. John's bass line is just so gorgeous. And I'm baffled over the sea of sustained guitars before the last verse. There is no oscillation in the notes and no feedback. How in the world did they achieve that effect? Question for Pro Tools guys. I start a 16/48 session and import the tracks. Long Away opens instantly, but I'm In Love With My Car needs to convert to 16/48 before opening, even though the tracks are 16/48 to begin with. What's the difference between them? |
Sheer Brass Neck 20.01.2012 12:52 |
Agree completely. This is the stuff that for me feels like the musical education I've wanted my whole life. Hearing things for the first time, wondering how and why they did it, this stuff is superb. |
