Legendary rockers Queen are to be presented with the Global Icon Award at the 2011 MTV EMA.
The Bohemian Rhapsody band, who are one of the most dynamic and influential rock collectives of all time, will be honoured with the accolade at the ceremony, held in Belfast on 6th November.
Speaking of their award, Queen star Brian May claimed: "We are honoured to be designated a Global Icon. We will do our best to be worthy!"
As well as winning the coveted prize, the group will also take to the stage for a special performance, as 2011 marks the 40th anniversary of Queen's formation in 1971.
The likes of Lady GaGa, Bruno Mars and Coldplay are also due to perform at the star-studded bash, while Adele has already been named as this year's winner of the Best UK & Ireland Act gong.
Selena Gomez will host the event from Belfast's Odyssey Arena on 6th November and you can catch the proceedings from 9pm GMT on MTV.
