Look at this rarity that I've found on Youtube :) link |
| pietrek 15.10.2011 05:55 |
The biggest paradox is that was on ImageSchack for about 2 years and nobody noticed it ;) |

Wow. Look how young Phoebe looks! |

Thanks for the link. Great video... Should be more in the archives... |

Great clip!!! I think at the very end of the clip before it ends there's a guy with a pale blue longsleeve shirt on with bushy hair... this could be Billy Squier doing the "walk" with the band. |

Not only is this footage unique, but it is historically significant - it is Queen heading through the corridor in a US arena for the last time. This footage was shot on 9-15-82 at the LA Forum. |

It's interesting to know whether the video from this concert exists or not. It'd be amazing to see the video of the last Queen US concert ever. |

Here is a picture of John, Freddie & Michael in the backstage at that same concert: link Due to the fact that there is the Getty Image copyright impressed on the video i think that it was taken only by a single video/photo reporter from that agency so it's rather improbable that an entire crew has shot professionally the concert... but maybe the same reporter has recorded some other few minutes on video during the whole show. |

From this video, I fell into a long joyous shock |

The boys with Michael Jackson in the audience, that can only be a smoking hot show! |

Freddie's bulge is huge in this... it was also cool seeing MJ at the end! |

I can't enjoy a show if it's only heard by me. Sitting on a gem or sharing it with thousands of Queen fans? I would always choose the latter. Spread the music. Seeing as QP are lazy and won't release anything interesting, I think us Queen fans should start acting and share every piece of Queen's musical history with each other. |

This is off-topic, but I have a couple hundred recordings of Elton John's live performances. I'm just like you, and spread the music! If people want the music, I share it! |

I can imagine that Inglewood 1982 show being an excellent show! |

But keep in mind, a couple dozen of those Elton recordings were held onto by collectors while they acquired a couple dozen others. Today they can all be found on a single blog to download, but it wasn't always that easy. There's always far more happening behind the scenes than what you can read about on a forum, my good man. For the people who have worked for years to bring those recordings to you, it's not as simple as sharing everything at once. |

For the people who have worked for years to bring those recordings to you, it's not as simple as sharing everything at once. ============== No, it wasn't always easy! A portion of my shows I had to either purchase myself (they were either rare, or the superior version/source was only available for purchase), or I had to get in trades! There's also gigs that were thought to be mis-labeled/fakes, but turned out to be legit. For example, there's gigs like Milan 1984 and Madrid 1986 for Elton that usually were labeled wrong (the 1984 one would either be Worcester or Wembley, and the 1986 one would be either Lille 1986 or Saratoga 1986), but I found the legit sources randomly on a torrent! I posted Milan 1984 on my channel, and then people started flocking to me because I somehow found the legit concert. They threw their trade lists at me! After that, it kinda exploded! Speaking of blogs, I'm thinking of making a blog/website with my Elton recordings. I want the site to kinda have the "Queenliveca" look (because the layout for the shows/info is fantastic, and very easy to follow). Do you have any pointers? |

Hi guys!!!!!! One question: this incredible footage with MJ backstage with Queen was shot before the start of the LA gig or the Oakland gig........Queenconcerts.com says Oakland, but I think it is LA!!!!!! |
| The Real Wizard 01.03.2012 20:44 |
Compare Freddie's shirt in the video to the Oakland and LA pics - it's definitely not Oakland. Furthermore, MJ was in LA at the time recording Thriller. 100% certain, the footage is from LA. |
