I just found this video of the Munich gig, in the Live Killers Tour, the quality is awesome, the best i never found in a 70'gig. Do you think Queen have the whole concert in their archives in this quality? We can get a DVD, or even a Bluray someday in that case!!! link
It's from a 1979 German TV special. Here's the whole thing - link
Indeed, this is probably the best 70s footage of the band. I wonder if QP has the rest of it?
GT, some insight perhaps?
I uploaded these video to Youtube, it cames from a dvd that i made a months ago... on fact it's my own transfer of my own Vhs
Sir Gh gave you the torrent link but i uploaded the dvd to Mediafire, too : http://www.queenconcerts.com/queenzone/1257831.html
I think they have at least these songs in the archives... but don't forget that some times the tv stations were allowed to record only 4 o 5 songs... the only thing that make me wonder about a full recording of this gig is "Live Killers"
Cheers!
Normally you'd be right, but I think Munich may be an exception.
In the Madrid footage for example, there are songs from the beginning and end of the show. But the fact that Now I'm Here (from the middle of the show) is included, I strongly suspect there is more footage somewhere.
Indeed, if they filmed Now I'm Here from the middle of the show, they probably filmed more bits of the concert. TV stations usually film only the beginning and the end of the shows. In this case, some more footage of the Munich gig must exist.
Speaking of that video--that's gotta be one of the best versions of WWRY on that tour (Freddie hits A4s on "World someday" and "Peace someday")!
Plus the quality is excellent--wish more footage/audio in that quality existed!

According to Greg Brooks' Queen Live, more of that show exist on audio as he has stage banter transcribed that is NOT in the video.
