====================
Because the official version ISN'T superior in every way: The BBC recording has the vocal tracks more isolated--making it easier to hear Freddie's vocals. It also reveals subtle nuances that I couldn't hear on the official release (like Roger cracking his voice, and Freddie sounding cleaner on songs compared to the official release).
Wembley 1986 is officially released, yet the audience recording/radio broadcast stuff is shared here--this is the same situation!
I seem to have this radio broadcast, but it would be great if you shared it!
I'm not sure if the thing I have is really the BBC live radio broadcast but it seems to me it really is. I should check it out.
Hey Greg,
Well, A chap called Owen was kind enough to send me his off-air FM recording of Queen's Live Aid set from BBC Radio.
Bob is supposed to be working his magic on and should be uploading it when it's done.

I better get to listen again.. Gregsynth is telling me His voice is even better on the real FM broadcast then the Live in Montreal... And Radio Gaga Live Aid is allready my favorite live song:) Things only bet better:)
