I just listened to Jazz. I haven't experienced such a great emotions after this album for two years. I underestimated this album but now I realised that this is one of the best Queen albums. Pure musical ecstasy.
I felt so low when I started to listen to it and now I'm on high. There's nothing left from me but my hearing.
That's just great. Music is my drug.

I fully support you in your ecstasy.
I agree with you. Jazz was my favourite album at some point some time ago. A Kind Of Magic has become my favourite album now though, but Jazz remains one of the best anyway. It's always been hard to choose favourite Queen album though, as all their albums are the best.

A Kind of Magic is great and underrated album, I like almost all songs from AKOM (except Don't Lose Your Head and Gimme the Prize).

Honestly, not for me. I am huge progressive rock fan so my fav Queen albums are Queen II and Sheer Heart Attack.

Queen is Feel good Music.....I like Jazz.....Mustapha and most of the album is underated!....
Great album. A very disstinct sound to this record which took a while to 'get', but I love it.
I think of it as a proto 'Game' rather than a follow up to NOTW - very similar albums.

I think that Jazz is more return to art-rock-roots with NOTW-inspired middle part and few proto-Game tracks like Fun It. For me, Jazz have very special sound, so Queen did an one-album-era with it. It's very slightly connected with both News and Game.

Indeed. I've always been comparing these albums to each other. Jazz and The Game sound similar.
Except Two songs Jazz is an EXCELENT almbum... i was just thinking today about "Leavin home ain't easy" ... these song is more than Underated... it isn't even in the conmons "Underated queen songs" lists... And is a fantastic song... all this distortions... is Hipnotic... psychodelic i must say, the lirycs are very seem to "The Loser In The End" from Queen II...
Well Mustapha is also a Excelent song... Dreamers balls... Speed Hard Rock with Dead on time.... sweet song In only seven days... etc etc ... the only bad instrument on this album??? The drums... i know it's a deep discussion... but i don't like the drums so much... it sounds very thiner to my hears... i love the "sitar" guitar of Brian on Jelousy (the same guitar is in White Queen And Sail Away Sweet Sister)
Fun It and More Of that Jazz?? simply HORRIBLE to my hears... i always skiped it... i never can listen it even for a second... really... but the rest of the album is allright... more that alright... the last studio album of Queen in the 70's... a hidden pearl to hear in a special moment of your life...
anyway Queen II still is my favourite album... along with Queen... i love Queen album, too.

Those two songs "fun it" and "more of that jazz" are pretty bad IMO, but the rest of the album is really good...The album sounds nothing like The Game to my ears, and more like a review of the 70's.

More of That Jazz is excellent song. Great vocals from Rorer, nice guitar riff. But you should count that I am big Roger Taylor fan.
