According to a very little report in The Sun Brian wants to do the above and Lady Gaga could be one of the guest vocalists
If this is for real then this sounds interesting, depending on if they can get the right people for the right songs

Though on Brians website its a similar story but they want to do a tv show with guest vocalists
LADY GaGa has signed up to perform with her idols Queen. The New Yorker, who took her name from the band’s Radio Ga Ga, wants to fill in for Freddie Mercury on a new TV show.
After picking up Queen’s BMI Icon award, guitarist Brian May, 64, revealed: “We were debating a TV show where we have all different guest stars sing our songs. GaGa actually said, ‘Yes I’d like to come do something like that with you’, so it’s a question of timing and people’s availability.”
May, who appears on 25-year-old GaGa’s album Born This Way, wants Queen to work with other singers instead of touring with pal Paul Rodgers, 61, again. He explained: “GaGa is very creative – she’s not just a songwriter or singer, she’s a real creator. Working with her was fun. The stuff we did with Paul was fabulous but we don’t want to go down that route again.”
I PUSHED THIS IDEA OVER A YEAR AGO!! (on the forum at least... i didn't hassle Brian or Rog... that would have been awesome)
they need to do a VH1 (classic VH1 style) ROCK HONORS show... and pull out several different singers to fill in the roles.
Given the variety of genres the band made... this would be an ideal way to reiterate the classics and reinterpret SOME...
just so long as they stick to QUALIFIED performers... (i.e. ROCKERS)
,,,,and not has been rockers (if someone from WINGER makes it in, we're in trouble)
Love it or not... if the fire's still there... let it smolder...
I'd LOVE to see the guys rock it again.
(PS: also noted in the first post which someone in the QPC musta noticed... i requested only a few tickets for saving the band from missing out on another decade of succe$$ ;)
;)
i think it's an excellent idea,...just as i had before..
nothing wrong with Kip Winger. What about Billy Squier, was a friend of Brian, Fred and Roger, they have all played on his solo records over the years. Justin Hawkins, Jeff Scott Soto and Matt Bellamy would all be good but get PR back, no more pop shit like ga ga, robbie williams or will young.
This idea would interest me much more if there going to be new songs involved.
One of the most regular criticisms of the 2005 tour was that it was effectively live karaoke for PR. With a new singer on each song that would seem to take the karaoke thing to a whole new level!
Although TCR was not the most amazing album the world has ever seen it was new and that made it exciting and interesting. Also, there are songs on there that I still like and listen to (C-lebrity, Some Things That Glitter, SINT, etc). If other bands much older than Queen (like the Quo) can carry on making new music why can't Queen or May and Taylor or whatever you want to call it.
Does anyone else agree?
I would like them to go into a recording project wih Justin Hawkins, who is a person they could collaborate with --- I think his tunes are catchy and they are already friends. Lady Gaga is not rock enough and she already is busy but I could see her singing a Queen song such as ... hmm ... I was going to say Good Old Fashioned Loverboy but that wouldn't make any sense -- maybe Killer Queen or Lily of the Valley - something she could play the piano on. There are plenty of interesting singers who would be fun to watch sing a Queen song. I know -Lady Gaga on Nevermore.
