Paris '79 & Buenos Aires '81 Vob samples (without logos)

Somebody asked me for these samples as they were adamant all taped versions either had the QTV logo or were cropped.
As I am uploading them to mediafire, I thought I may as well post the links here.

This looks pretty good. I made a very simple "remaster", I took your video, increased the mid-range saturation a bit, put it through VirtualDubMod's NeatVideo plugin with very basic settings, and this is the result : link
What do you think about it ? As I wrote it's a quick (5-minutes long) job, but if you like it I could offer my services :-)
Peter, I think I already sent you a copy of Buenos Aires and Paris some time back, so feel free if you want to play with them.
The only difference between them and my latest two transfers are that I have increased the audio levels and made some small edits and fades.
I used a different DVD recorder this time, but that has made hardly any difference, if any at all.
I'm not trying to say either of my versions are better than those already out there, but even the best Paris QTV version in circulation does have rather annoying audio interference at times
(rather like the audio was not tracked in correctly on the VCR at the time of the transfer) and of course a nice QTV _ graphic.
Both of my recordings used for the transfer are PAL Betamax and the dvd recorder was set at 1 hour rec mode for Paris and 2 hour for Buenos Aires.
Unfortunately the original VCR used was not HI FI, so the audio is not as good as it could have been.

Is this really the same Buenos Aires ? I remember it looking worse but it's a long time since I've seen it, your sample looks better than what I remember :-) I try to play with it

Your versions are REALLY great, it's a great "alternative" , it's great to have one version with better video, but with an ugly QTV logo, and one video with worse video, but with no logos.

i was thinking that If the dvd recorders has been existing in these "convention days" we could get a lot of gigs in good quality!
Now, in this news conventions, they don't "transmite more gigs? (i don't know much about conventions)

Dear Pittrek. Your work is great as always. This is the best picture quality of Argentina'81, I've ever seen. I would like to see "this quality" on a DVD. It deserves a DVD working :) Thanks for effort and of course kurgan100 for the source video...
What do you think about a DVD release?

Can you upload this version of Argentina concert?

I think it could be improved first.

Could you please upload Paris? I mean the whole thing. It is the best version I've ever seen.

Same thing applies, I think it could be improved first.

========================================================== Okay. Let's clear this up once for all.
Back in the old days (1990's), the QFC would broadcast lots of concerts WITHOUT a logo until they realised that folks were taking their video recorders to convention and recording them.
Then, around 1997 ish, the QTV logos started to appear.
This was great for a couple of years until around 2001 when Channel 5 was finally available in most of the UK (including Prestatyn were the convention was held) and the QTV channel suffered dreadful interference making further recording pointless.
These days (since about 2006), QFC conventions in the UK stopped broadcasting the rare stuff and now all we get is official releases. Not only are these are terrible quality broadcasts compared to what we used to get, but they are now broadcast from DVDs created by a standalone DVD recorder, which means artefacting has been introduced into the picture.
So. it is POINTLESS taking recording equipment to the conventions these days, although I do know 'some' people still do, just incase....

Which means there were possibly some logo free recordings made on HIFI VCRs up until 1997.
