I have never said Queen disappointed with any product, but these re-releases are disappointing to the fan who already has it all. Just five songs on the bonus CD? What happened with all the demos and songs that weren't released. Can somebody please ease my disappointment by saying Queen is planning to release a huge collection of all that like the Freddie box.
The new wave of re-issues were never meant to be anthologies and include all the demos, out-takes and rare stuff that are in the archives. That will hopefully be addressed in the future.
The additional tracks that are on the Bonus EP's are just a taster of what all the guys thought you might like to hear, with some familiar stuff that has been released before for the regular music fan ie. B-Sides, Live tracks and 12" mixes.

Yep...exactly what he said ^...
So many on here have been critical of the remasters...I suppose the only thing I'm critical about is the fact that I'm in the US, and I don't get them here until months after y'all! Apart from that, they sound great. And for the bonus discs? Hell, I thought it was cool that they were put on there. They could have just re released the CD's as they were...then how many would be bitching then? I guarantee twice as many...I'm certain that there was a reason for this. Does nobody think here that there was a plan for that? Give it time...yes, we've all waited to hear this rarity and that rarity, but again, QPL doesn't HAVE to release anything from the vaults if they don't want. Nobody owes us anything. You as Queen fans fell in love with the music as was heard on the original albums and CD's, right? I know I did. Hearing the new remasters breathed a bit of life into some of these pieces of work. Nobody said anyone had to go out and buy the new remasters. Hell, for those of us in the USA like myself, know money is hard to come by these days.
My point being...enjoy what you have. Quit complaining about what you don't have. And by all means, have an opinion, but jeez, is all the complainig going to bring Freddie back to life and make Queen make more music? Well, no...it would be nice, but no it's not. Is it going to force QPL to release every single rarity that you and I have ever wanted? Again, probably not...so again, appreciate what you have and be thankful that there was a band as cool as Queen, to give you the music that we still love and appreciate today.
ok, rant over...criticize all you want, I know you will, and guess what? I don't give a shit! Peace...
