As i watched last nights Strictly Come Dancing and they showed a few shots of Brian supprting his wife Anita Dobson.A horrible thought crossed my mind that Brian might one week play a song whilst the dancers pranced about, surely not i hear you cry.But picture the scene Bruce introduces the rock legend Brian May playing Bijou Whilst Anita gets held aloft in the air !!! Pass me the sick bag please !!!
Yes i agree it is a crap show, but then again, so is most of Saturday night telly. The only thing in its favour is the scantily dressed female dancers, and no i am not talking about Edwina Currie !!!
Yeah, that article should read - Brian was shocked but then he realised there was the posibility of a Queen week on the show. Obviously there would need to be a new best of compilation released just before Christmas to celebrate 40 years and Freddie's 65th to be shamelessly flogged and accompanying Dr. Bri on guitar could be Kerry Ellis on vocals who could do with more exposure and positive press. Bam! Double hit!
And maybe Brucie could wear a FFAD tasche too. Nice to see you, to see you yes indeed!
This is my first post on here and I am in Spain.Watched SCD tonight and seeing Brian prompted the old nostalgia thing.Back in the '70's worked in both Rogers pad at Barnes and John Harris (top roadie since the very early days) pretty nearby.Great guys both of 'em.Always been curious as to how John got on .Done a google search and all I can find was that he had been very ill and had left the band .He was actually sleeping on the floor of his lovely pad as he was waiting for the furniture to arrive. Showed me his Aston Martin in the garage ,but there was nothing in the house.I was a BT residential engineer and was there to give him a landline connection.Such a nice guy ,as was Roger who I got to move some furniture with me in his house cos thats where he wanted his new, flash, push button phones. All the rage about 1977. Would realy love to hear about John if anyone knows.
Not appropriate for 'serious discussion'. Not even appropriate for a Queen messageboard full stop. For what its worth.. does anyone have a decent photo of Brian's 1st wife? Would love to know what he left for a moose like Angie...

Anita looks like she could be a half decent dancer and the longer she stays in the more shots we will see of Brian supporting her in the audience
Dunno about Brian and Roger being asked to sing

John Deacon has been a recluse and no body here knows much about his current life. You may find a snap of his attending soem wedding, which is a couple years old.
