...to sing with Queen again...who would sound great?
I really liked George Michael's voice singing Queen. But now...my very, very favourite choice, and I think he could do such an amazing job is Adam Lambert.
Was Adam interested in such a notion? I wonder what he's been up to - hasn't been too visible. Perhaps he should have shown more interest in it.
Anyway, my feeling is pretty pessimistic. We will never see the likes of another Freddie for Queen. He was truly a
one off, as they say. Not only in terms of singing and performing - but as part of an engine to help write and create new works
for Queen. He and the others were together the heart of Queen. A fabric never to be woven again.
George Michael, in truth, wouldn't be a great choice unless they wanted to do two hours of 'Somebody to Love' on stage. He isn't a rock singer and his voice would be positively tsunamied by Brian's guitar.

Adam had a huge, huge tour - Glam Nation - live cd and dvd - he's working on a new album. He hasn't sought anything, but I guess there were rumours...I saw him respond to the idea and he was blown away by it. Also, I saw this quite a long time ago: "In an interview with Rolling Stone, Queen’s Brian May says that while there is nothing set in stone, he and drummer Roger Taylor "are definitely hoping to have a meaningful conversation with him at some point." May went on to say that "I’d certainly like to work with Adam. That is one amazing instrument he has there.” " So...just wondering what others think.
I would never, ever expect anyone, ever to "replace" Freddie - that's not possible. But Roger and Brian are obviously still interested in keeping some aspect of Queen alive...so if they ever did decide to say, tour again, or whatever...Adam would be (in my opinion) a great choice of vocalist. There will never be another Freddie.
So...semi off topic I saw a crazy website where some religious fanatic insisted that Adam is "infected" with Freddie's "demon spirit". Some people....fucking nuts.
