similar...i listened to deep purple
child in time, when a blind man cries, pictures of home, burn, lay down stay down, flight of the rat, mary long, smoke, strange kinda woman
I watched the google tribute, finished watching the new Days of Our Lives BBC doc, got out of work... then had a beer until my Queen songs came on the jukebox.
Thereafter i ordered some champagne and played: Death on Two Legs, Bohemian Rhapsody, Bijou, Crazy Little Thing, Fat Bottomed Girls, Get Down, Make Love, I'm Going Slightly Mad, Surfin Bird (by the Trashmen - just to irritate someone), Let Me Live and You Don't Fool Me.
ensuring the bar had some good music, but possibly irritating others who don't like such heavy doses of Queen.
Ah well, F*** em,.
Happy Birthday.

hey, someone on qzone who is rich lol.
HAHAHA.... far from it, man. And much sooner i'll be even broker and living in smaller quarters (legal matter). I work at a rehearsal studio, Aspiring art teacher (if i cant succeed at music and art on its own...or if i get a real girlfriend and have to retire to a more "secure" world)
that said... the champagne was a 10 ouncer at a beer and wine bar. Nothing fancy. It was probably a Korbel or something... it was poured for me. So that i could limply give a toast to someone who frequently toasted his audience.
But it wouldn't be surprising if someone on here WAS a rich person. Maybe there's even a rockstar or two in here incognito.
I hooked up my laptop to my P.A., picked up my guitar and jammed out to Queen for about 3 hours. Much fun. I also spammed my facebook with Freddie/Queen vids and links in an attempt to initiate the unenlightened.
I incessantly reminded everyone at work how disappointed I was that none of the local radio stations were playing non-stop Queen (or Queen at all), for it was Freddie Mercury's 65th birthday. It's weird, I usually hear tons of Queen (and Elton John) on the "classic hits" station and a run through of Queen's heavier stuff on the classic rock station, but nothing that day. Very sad.
Oh and nice cake lifetimefanofqueen. Looks delicious!
For freddie's b-day I just like to play all the Queen CD's I have in my collection in honor of him and just played my Live at wembley DVD as well. I also had forgotten it was his b-day this week, and hey he and I were born in the same month, but mine was a few weeks after his anyways.
Sorry if i'm late, but just once again for him...HAPPY BIRTHDAY FREDDIE MERCURY! AAYYE-OH!
