Just heard Keep yourself alive, of all the places, on ATP tennis tournament in Cincinnati.
I was writing something on my laptop, with my head down and i hear a familiar tune, i go like wtf :/
Queen? Early stuff? 1st single? On tennis? Nah....
And sure, there it was, with that killer opening .
Made me chuckle a little bit.
Cool.
The weirdest place i ever heard Queen play was in a small family owned tourist store in Israel. And even weirder was that they were playing Love of my Life.

Well jeez. "Just gotta get out, just gotta get right outta here"? What else would one play at a flee market?!
1992 Olympics, Barcelona, Ladies synchronised swimming, (pairs). Not paticularly paying attention to the T.V. and then my attention was seized by the unmistaksble 'ooo ooo ooo ooo ooo' of Freddie's voice from 't'he Kiss' , Flash Gordon.
In this new context it was absolutely beautiful and the two competitors looked absolutely startling with this great music. Whoever had the foresight to use and have knowledge of this track was nothing short of brilliant.
Master marathon runner.
.
Was in a pub in Skegness in the 90's & the DJ put on Roger's "Two Sharp Pencils" Not strange that a DJ would put on anything by Queen or any Member of Queen, but Two Sharp Pencils?
we used to call it a 'KMart moment'...
such as, ......get a queen sized sheet and bedspread discounted for...............................
ok, I'll bite.......when Michael Jordan unretired a second time, and signed with the Washington Wizards, their sales pitch for season and individual tickets on the local Baltimore and DC radio stations had .......are you ready?............
'Now I'm Here' playing in the background.
As Bob Ryan would say..."I was shocked! SHOCKED, I tell you...."
