It's a bummer Princes of the Universe isn't on this album instead of One year of Love, but I guess it shows their diversity.
I think the album would've been better with Khashoggi's Ship as the first track , which would've had the album starting with the opening line "Who said that my party is all over?"
And finishing with Was it all worth it.
But still, never mind.
Exactly my thought. Totally weakens the collection by adding tunes that I personally don't consider Queen songs.
Although I made my decision to buy all the DC CDs so I guess I HAVE to buy this one.
Made in Heaven always had an artificial feel to it. Although I appreciate Mother Love, I always found it unusually depressing for Queen, but then - given the circumstances it's understandablel. And yes, I'll buy it too as I've bought the other two.
I just look at titles from MIH and I just think 'crap song'. I didn't buy a copy until about 2005 or so - having answered all sorts of awkward questions in 1995 about why one of my favorite band were so shit. I cringe at the production, but think sadly about the factors involved. A disinterested band HAVING to do something to ensure new product hit the shelves. A hand personal exocism maybe, but a Queen album? No. Same with GHIII.
That long mess at the end, and all the little samples of old tracks. Christ on a bike.
Totally disagree. I think Made in Heaven is a great album. I love what they did with MIH as a track and IWBTLY. Made them feel like proper Queen songs. AWT, ML, LML are all great songs and I love YDFM. They tried again to do something different with this song. I think some of the guitar solos on this album are the best for ages. I would take MIH any day over AKOM or TW.
Sorry about all the initials, its late and i cant be arsed typing out the full titles.

I wholeheartedly agree with you on that - MIH is a great album. In fact, it was the one which got me into Queen in the first place, and it opens up a load of great memories for me too.
