I have an old bootlegged video tape where the vocal quite clearly cuts out during WWRY. Freddie taps on his microphone a few times and then is handed a hand mic (without the usual top half of the stand.)

Are you serious or are you joking?
Yes, i taped the 50 minute version that was shown on VH1 in 2001. Apart from the “locality” in fat bottom girls it’s all pretty much identical, so there’s no point sharing it.
It was never broadcast fully on TV, so you won't find the full concert.
The 1983 broadcast was about 70 minutes long, which led to plenty of bootlegs.
I actually prefer this mono mix to what was officially released. Brian's backing vocal comes through much more (particularly at the end of Somebody To Love), and Roger's snare doesn't have that trigger on it.

I'm serious. Watch the DVD of On Fire. He has the standard mic for The Hero and suddenly has a hand held mic for WWRY (so the vocals cutting out was during The Hero, not WWRY, my bad)
Also I think my tape was from a VH1 broadcast in the US. I'm thinking it ran about 45-50 minutes...it is definitely not the full show as it exists on the DVD.
hi, so far there is no full version of the bowl gig without overdubs, the sound was smoothly overdubed for the official release but it's almost the same, actually that link that you posted is of my upload in youtube. i edited it a bit cutting the opening of the tube show. it's a pity that the concert it is not complete
