I am a fanboy in that I realy enjoy Apple product's and love jumping on the banter train towards others who dislike apple.
How ever, after looking forward to this new release the fk'n thing wont work on my system due to the fact I only have 1gig of ram.
This annoyed me!!!!!!!!!
Same thing happened with my Iphone 3 in that I couldnt get IO4 with all the features.
Its like a slap in the face. Makes me wonder if there is somethign more behind this.
As if they leave you no option and you must upgrade your system in order to use the current IO's.
Apple was a good thing but to be honest, I haven't touched any new operating systems or applications from them in the past year and a half. Too much stuff stops working, too many retarded fucking features that do nothing, things like Final Cut Pro being turned into a complete fucking joke ... seriously, I worry about the day that I need to get a new computer. At the moment I'm fine with having a computer that runs Windows XP and an old version of OSX, but if I'm ever forced to use a current operating system, I'm going to fucking spew on someone. Literally - I will go out and find the nearest computer salesman and actually vomit into his waiting mouth.

Easy... just upgrade your ram.

I loved my XP and dreaded upgrading, cos i hate vista, but windows 7 is actually a lot better then vista, i find. So if its vista u don't like, then don't worry to much.

No as easy as that.. I am running a Mac Mini. It can be done, but finding the parts is one thing. Also there is the installing of the items as well.
Either pay some dude wods of cash, or do it my self after spending hours on youtube for "how to vids".
Even though I am running the PC that was made in 2007, a 2011 release of a OS to work is pretty good. It's just that I was looking forward to the simple and easy was of just instaling the new OS and .... done...
Also.... for any one who knows PC's in the apple market, in order to get Lion, you must download it......... Ok, I can deal with that. Others might not be able to, due to slow Internet conection, or data limits or what ever. But second to that, you need to have Snow Leopard, which is the previous OS. So if your running just Leopard (Previous to Snow Leopard), you will be required to upgrade to Snow Leopard, and then you can get Lion. Its a bit of a run around which stems from a Microsoft textbook.
Might just be an idea to wait until I am ready to upgrade my unit entirely.
The latest episode in the tales of Apple customer rip-off: if you smoke using your apple computer you lose your guarantee. Reason: the sensitive apple components will die if you smoke while using it.

Back of the net... exactly what Apple want you to do by making their units non-upgradeable.
I would never allow myself to be conned/ripped off like that...
