Over the weekend I was lucky enough to meet Brian May and he signed my copy of the Red Special Guitar
The people ive told keep telling me how valuable it is now, and i am
wondering how much do people think a signed red special guitar is worth
BY THE WAY, THIS IS JUST HYPOTHETICAL! I WOULD NEVER SELL IT BECAUSE IT
IS SOMETHING UNIQUE AND PERSONAL TO ME, THAT WILL ALWAYS REMIND ME OF
THE DAY I MET BRIAN MAY :)
Cheers :)
He was in a bit of a hurry to get set up for the gig, so he just let me and my friend back stage quickly and he signed his name.
However he sent me a message the next day from his website, after i left a note saying thank you

I am really pleased for you mate! Also a little jealous haha - I have a Red Special too, and met the good Dr in January. I knew I was going to meet him, but was too scared to take the guitar with me incase I was mugged in the City Centre. Instead I took my NATO special ed CD to get that signed. Waited a while, too, so I could easily have gone back to the flat for my RS. Twit! Well done anyways, it's a nice aquisition :)
Cheers! ah shame you didnt get the guitar signed too! but at least you got the CD signed :)
The only bad thing is i now worry about damaging the signature every time i pick up the guitar...but it was so worth getting it signed so ill live with it! haha
I may have to get a new guitar eventually if i want to save it...perhaps a £3000 Brian May Super? If only!
